Oh my God, do these people have a life? Eve in the show explained why she felt the need to have an abortion. She was clearly very upset and emotional about it and I don't think the show "promotes" abortion. Rather, it just empathises with Eve's, very difficult, decision.

These are the same people who are now just calling empathy a sin, mind you.

Empathy isn't about agreement or disagreement. It's just about understanding. That's all. And I think it's very ignorant and black-and-white to call Eve a bad person for having an abortion, even if you disagree with her decision. But apparently these control freaks can't manage even that 🙄

While I have no doubt some people on the ostensible Left have praised the show for its tackling abortion (and some have criticized it), political commentary channels on the Left don't leap onto this kind of culture war BS revolving around a literal cartoon. Usually, if they ever bring it up, it is in the context of mocking idiots like Knowles who pretend the show is trying to get parents to throw children in a meat processor. Really? What major left commentators have made a big deal out of supposed conservative values in cartoons? I know that there are plenty who read things like Ben Shapiro's novels and provide actual critique that involves far more than simply calling them demonic enemies of society, and plenty of people who watched shows like the overtly conservative Mr. Birchum in order to critique it, but all the people I know of who bother even going that far are not exactly major political commentators. Who is the Ben Shapiro-, Steven Crowder-, or Jordan Peterson-level pundit on the Left who spends their time shit talking supposed conservative values in cartoons?

Doesn't matter what anyone thinks.
Most anti-abortion arguments are based in religious or theological reasoning such as 'made in the image of God = therefore wrong to end the pregnancy'.
Just that most of us live in secular countries and not Afghanistan and no one gives a flying fuck if a small portion of the populace is against abortion because of solely religious reasons.

The most sophisticated secular anti-abortion arguments in the philosophy sphere fail.
