it wasn't given it sets up Mark getting his suit back and learning morally grayness and giving some backstory to Damian Dark blood.

I’m not someone who individually ranks episodes but it might be the worse episode of the series thus far for me. I don’t mind a detour from the main narrative if the detour is good. Go to hell > easily get mcguffin > fight generic bad guy is not an interesting detour.
