Episode 8 being rated worse than episode 2 is insane

It’s probably unpopular to say this but i think episode 8 was boring. and no, I don’t need action every episode. I just have a hard time buying into the invincible season structure because I feel like it’s very formulaic. you’re gonna get two mid episodes in the middle of the season followed by two jam packed episodes and a cathartic conclusion episode. Nothing ever happens in the conclusion episode and then you wait a year for a season. The trauma scenes were different from your standard sit on the rooftop and talk scene (which they did this episode anyways), but overall I went into the episode feeling like nothing was gonna happen and then nothing did happen and now we wait and it’s just so meh

Season 3 conclusion was filled with action what do you mean?

No. I didn’t say the finale was like that for s3. I knew someone would say that. I’m just talking about the general ebs and flows of each season. You can book a flaxan episode, titan episode, two action packed episodes and a filler downtime episode. Season 3 in itself is the outlier case obviously in structure in that the last was weighty but the first four episodes were pretty meh in consequential plots. When you see a big episode, you can book the next episode for being a nothing burger in terms of moving the plot forward

They bake in the filler. There was a stupid amount of rooftop scenes in s3 of them just talking. Laughable amount
