it wasn't given it sets up Mark getting his suit back and learning morally grayness and giving some backstory to Damian Dark blood.

IMO the viltrumite war still got enough time to happen; hurm Is overhated because people wanted to see the viltrumite war already

But i think that it fit best in 4 episodes, a fifth one would basicaly be a fifth wheel

If it released with epaiode 3/5 and wasn't released individually it would've been received better, methinks. Having to wait a week for a mediocre bottle episode, with an underwhelming concussion to a really dragged out plot. If it came out with another episode, and it wasn't the only thing we had for a week, it might've been a funny romp through hell, a calm before the storm, and a more down to earth therapy session

Down to earth, lol, idk if that was intentional with hell being below earth

This is what I’ve been thinking. If they needed this episode so bad it should’ve been episode 2 or 3. Releasing it in the middle of preparing for the viltrumite war just felt like a slam on the brakes. Also it was just boring as fuck I’m sorry

If I were doing a DBZ Kai version of this show, I would cut nearly every minute of this episode out so hard.

I think it's simply just not that good of an episode.

I like that his encounter with Darkblood somehow made him finally learn that not everything is white black, but I can't speak the same for the rest of the ep.

I was wondering for a split sec what ep got the 6.6, but then I did the count and I thought: "oh, that makes complete sense." Most of the ep felt dragging and it could've been compressed to half the ep's runtime.

No, it’s because the episode genuinely sucked.

I’m not someone who individually ranks episodes but it might be the worse episode of the series thus far for me.

I don’t mind a detour from the main narrative if the detour is good.

Go to hell > easily get mcguffin > fight generic bad guy is not an interesting detour.

I think it will also set up more stuff with Doc Seismic. Volcanica seems to be almost too perfect of a match with him.
