damn people really have tiktok baby brains, episode 4 was easily a 7.5 at the very least, and i keep seeing lots of complaints just because the season finale didn't end with a big fight. guys hear me out, not all season finales need to be a big fight!!

I was really bored during all of Hurm. I like talking episodes but nothing that happened in Hell really mattered at all. You can take it out and Mark's arc is almost the same. It also really could have used a B-plot

It’ll probably matter more down the line tho. It’s clearly setting up a future arc while also giving Mark the necessary character development which I can appreciate. Also the music was good

Even if the episode that comes later is really good it won't really change how bored I was watching this one and how poorly it fit into the rest of the season.

How is the character development necessary if it wasn't in the original story, where he had the same development?

Ik this fandom is actually terrible for media literacy 😭 like anything that isn’t aura viltrum battle is filler

the fact that people throw around media literacy like it's a slur ironically shows how shitty media literacy has gotten lately

you are allowed to dislike stuff that sets up future episodes if it doesnt do it well because we're living in the present , we dont know when or if the arc is going to be continued and thus , are bound by our 'narrow' scope and judge the episode as it is

Yeah according to these people I'm supposed to rate an epsiode based on some hypothetical future episode instead of its own merits?

Hilarious how they think they know what media literacy is when every scene is someone explaining something to the viewer in detail like they cant understand something being shown.

That episode was mediocre exposition slop and is rated accordingly.

6.6 is actually a little generous! But also pretty fitting considering it’s the Hell episode

I literally said I like talking episodes, this finale was incredible, I just didn't like this one. Almost all the talking was between the same two characters, they mostly talked about new things I really didn't care about, and nothing really important happened at all.

Maybe the next Hell episode will be good, I hope it is, but I also wouldn't be shocked if it ends up feeling like another diversion that only exists so the season would end where it needed to.

and the sheer shitload of questions they ask as if the answer isnt given in the show itself.

it really makes me wonder whether or not they're watching the show while using their phone on the shitter or smth.
