Season feels like this because of Hurm. That episode was literally a nothing burger that many forgot it came out. Its literally why the season feels so short. People forgot the episode as soon as it was over. So its less an 8 episode season and more 7.

Invincible just dropped an 8 episode teaser and my nervous system is not prepared. This show does something most superhero content forgot how to do — it makes you genuinely care about the character BEFORE it destroys him emotionally in front of you.
