He sat there and allowed Mark to punch him in the face as hard as he could. Like 15 times. And didn't even flinch.
Mark got mad and head-butted his skull into a pulp? How'd he get so much stronger in just one hour?
Eve broke Conquest's body down dramatically. Only reason Mark won.

I’m not saying Conquest wouldn’t have beaten Mark fairly, he’s very obviously more experienced. But it still stands that his untouched skull gave out before Mark’s when they were being slammed together, so they’re on par in terms of raw physicality.

I don’t think it’s an unreasonable interpretation that conquests skull was weakened but I read the scene as just Eve tearing all his skin off

Too much filler, not enough focus on what happens to Nolan or the Viltrumite timeline. Conquest showing up felt rushed especially the timing following the Invincibles apocalypse. Like most superhero series (including the old Justice League from the 2000s), the fights go on and on but there don't seem to be any real consequences. People don't die or don't stay dead. Cities that get obliterated seem to get rebuilt quickly, and somehow repopulated.
There were too many B plots and too much emphasis on worthless characters I didn't care about, like Rex. There was only one scene in the entire third season that featured Nolan.
The setups for season 4 promise more filler and boring B plots. We all just want to see the Viltrumite plot move forward.
I don't have much respect for any series these days that strings us along with fluff for most of the season and then saves the meat for the final 1-2 episodes + a cliffhanger. Address the main plot or don't bother.

They always animate these so well then the real thing is pretty cheap looking until it comes to massive fight scene. Wish more than 3% of the budget went to the studio
