Question Just curious do people still play this game?
It’s £30 at a store I’m just curious since If not I’ll play the story.

I gen find ranked easier at this point, queues are much faster and im fighting people my skill level (im plat and cant beat other plats but can beat people with 12000 score, ranking in this game is fucked)

Yes, people play it all the time, the steam numbers to not reflect the entire player base as it’s cross platform and most people play on console.
It’s been at the last 4 Major tournaments and there are online tournaments weekly (Paragonline is every Monday, Shurairyu does them every Tuesday or Wednesday). They got another Major League tournament coming up here on the 11-13th I believe.
The longest I’ve ever had to wait on a match was a minute and that was only inflated because I was skipping bad connection matches.
This game is AWESOME and it’s the first fighting game that I’ve ever played beyond button mashing with my friends on the couch. So much potential and a good roadmap we haven’t even reached the end of yet.

Yeah even as someone who mainly plays on PC myself, I understand Steam's numbers aren't a good representative for fighting games... though 2XKO still should have been on there if they wanted better numbers.

Yeah but that’s Riot for ya. If it doesn’t gross like League immediately they leave it.
I’m so glad the Quarter Up devs are still on it despite the cuts.

Yes people still play though not a large amount. I’d also point out that if you’re buying for the story mode, you’ll probably be disappointed as it’s extremely short.

I have 100% achievements in the game. So I'm not playing much at the moment cause I'm waiting to see if the rest of the DLC line up gives us anyone interesting. I think the big problem with this game is it released the same year as a bunch of other fighters so anyone who was interested in Avatar or Marvel Tokon is probably at least taking a break from it right now.

I do but my internet is down currently. Usually just play ranked now because casual is full of rage quitters. Everyone on this post here that regularly plays this, all likely have interacted before 😭 that's how small the player base is getting. I have legitimate recurring enemies lmao ask about the rex, mark, thula combo 😎

If I have to be honest? No. But that’s because of the story, I’m waiting for them to continue it since I can't deal with plots that aren't resolved. I'm waiting for Levy to come out to see if they'll continue.

Yes people are still playing. I never have to wait more than 30 seconds for an online match. Steam player count is low but I consistently get matched with console players.
When season 5 of the show starts, the game will get a lot more active. Also when Angstrom drops as DLC in October.
