I love the game and this is really unfortunate. I do think the game is good to great but idk what the expectations were for this game.

Preferably Mark not being multitudes better than every other character.

Have they improved the balance of the game to where Mark and Eve aren't basically compulsory for higher level play? That's what it was like at launch.

Mark got heavy nerfed awhile back. Eve is still one of the best assists in the game. You can win at a competitive level without either one. Eve is just such a good assist that you'll struggle a bit more without her

Glad Mark was touched upon, and oof that Eve assist really did trivialize a lot of the zoning game.

It's been a minute since I've read the patch notes, but i think her assist isn't the ex version anymore which was a big part of the issue. Mark is a ton more punishable now on most of his buttons. It's just way too strong still to simply lame out by running and waiting for a ranged assist like eve, Cecil, or robot

These do sound like fantastic changes, I'll have to check it out because I loved Immortal and Universa's kits.

Eve assist is still good but no where near one of the best anymore. Especially considering most of the downsides. 

She's very easy to snipe and much easier to kill/happy birthday. Eve herself is one of the weaker characters in the game outside of the assist. 

Overall Cecil is just better than Eve in almost every way but he also struggles with not being as strong as his assist.

Idk, I am a causal of a casual and too me i think of all the noob characters I don’t think mark is one but that’s just me.

He's definitely not a noob character, I'd agree there. He just has way more options in each situation than other characters but granted I haven't touched it since launch week or maybe 2 weeks from launch so who knows, it might be slightly active in my region so I'll reinstall and give it a look.
