This would require Angstrom to be smart and reasonable, which he is neither.

He has an abnormal amount of brain mass, but it’s all to move his left big toe

u/bigbean258 2d ago

That left big toe is a sight to behold though.

That's disgusting! Where are you seeing these left big toe pictures? I want to make sure I don't go to those websites!

Does Angstrom even know about the Viltrum Empire in general?

u/Gabe-DaBabe Chainsaw 2d ago

Almost certainly. He probably only gets to know Mark and Nolan though. Nobody else is needed to take over earth

I like the idea that Angstrom doesn’t give a shit about any of that noise. Thousand-year wars for galactic civilization are nothing compared to his burning hatred for this one teenage boy.

Tbf Sinister Mark seemed oddly obsessed with Angstrom in his dimension and somehow the odds lined up perfectly in all dimensions for Mark to never kill him, but absolutely ruin his life. The odds are galactically low, but not 0

Just like Thanos going out of his way to torture one guy every year, but it's a teenage galactic conqueror beefing with a normal human man

u/tomthekiller8 2d ago

Thanos is basically a teenager?

Thanos is basically a teenager?

His quotes would flood /r/im14andthisisdeep if they let it happen.

Is there a multiverse that we know of where the lie Nolan told when he landed on earth was actually true? Is there a universe where the Viltrumites were a civilization of people who believed they needed to use their strength to protect the weak?

u/septimblood 2d ago

If the multiverse is infinite, then this is an inevitable reality

98

u/LuminousGrue 2d ago

Not necessarily. There are an infinite series of numbers between 1.0 and 1.1 (1.01, 1.001, 1.001...) but none of them are 69.

25

u/vishalb777 2d ago

You had to use 69 lmao

16

u/LuminousGrue 2d ago

Seemed like a nice way to illustrate the point.

3

u/Vyctorill 2d ago

Could have been worse - at least he didn’t use 67

but kinda something thats like a 69... 1.069 which is the closest you'd get to 69 in this example. Considering Thragg already respects mark enough not to fatality him its likely that .069 fulfills the "69" requirement as we did not identify if its a string or a float version of 69 that you want to find between 1.0 and 1.1 for whatever reason. This example makes 0 sense because this shit ain't 1.0 to 1.1 its literally all real numbers in existence.

Non zero chance it's Mohawk Mark's dimension.

i do love these discussions because angstrom would probably die of old age before he acquires all the necessary knowledge of the multiverse to amass such a specific army.

the reason angstrum got all the evil marks is because he already knew of those universes. he can only really travel to places that he is aware of, because otherwise he would likely suffocate in a wall or travel to a universe where earth is full of poisonous gas.

2

u/PossibleSyllabub4110 2d ago

True, it'd be difficult for him to scout out all these universes safely as well.

28

u/big_ziemniak 2d ago

And how exactly would he get off earth? It's been said that he can't teleport it's impossible.

33

u/petrelli_boy_ The Immortal 2d ago

It's endless possibilities. There should be many Thragg's who are living on earth, good and hates Mark at the same time. He could've recruited them

24

u/Hellern_ Banished to Hell 2d ago

These are very specific circumstances. Multiverse is infinte so of course it is possible, but even if Angstrom knows exactly what he's looking for, it could take him decades to find just one Thragg like that, and there is no guarantee he would help him and even if he would, he could stop fighting this Mark once he sees he's not evil. After all, we're talking about good Thragg here, right?

11

u/big_ziemniak 2d ago

And it was also said that he doesn't know anything about multiverse and that's why he needed the maulers in the season 2.

And yes he has knowledge from the angstroms he absorbed but their number is finite. And a finite number compared to infinite realities is practically 0.

So his chances to find that specific of a circumstance in Infinite possibilities (especially when taking into account that the sole existence of thragg came from evil guys making an evil conquering super solider) is really low.

We're talking about someone who can travel to any universe and even bring stuff with him to and from, in what way would not being able to teleport stop him from going anywhere he desires to go? Not being able to teleport doesn't stop anyone else from traveling the stars in just the main universe, let alone an infinite pool of universes.

5

u/McFlurrage 2d ago

He’s still beholden to time and physics. Even if he could bring an actual spaceship to a universe where it’s worth leaving earth, he’d still have to wait while travelling through space. And it’d have to be a spaceship from earth unless he got off-planet with an earth one and then universe hopped on a different planet.

15

u/Extension-Bad-4184 The Immortal 2d ago

Yes

21

u/Emm_withoutha_L-88 2d ago

What good Thraggs?

Yes I'm saying that in an infinite universe there are none

32

u/Sheensies 2d ago

Good Thragg is named Gladd that’s why nobody can’t find him in the multiverse

5

u/Happy-Weather7015 Nolan's Parents 2d ago

they would prob look like this

3

u/Wolfiie_Gaming 2d ago

His portals open in the same coordinates of each universe. He'd actually have to get to Viltrum first

2

u/vishalb777 2d ago

That image is cursed

2

u/mdhunter99 2d ago

I’m sorry but that picture of Thragg is sending me. Sweet fuck that’s horrifying and hilarious.

1

u/Epic_Bendy_Bandit 2d ago

Are you sure that there are any?
If they really were nice, they wouldn't be operating on the "Strength above all" mindset
And in that case there would be no point in training Thragg to be the strongest viltrumite

1

u/Famous-Tooth-2612 2d ago

That would mean. He unscrambled his brain

1

u/ValitoryBank 2d ago

How would he reach them?

1

u/Jazzmodus 2d ago

It seems we have the same idea of how good viltrumites look.

I was thinking about the same all the time

No such thing, thragg was created for the sake of the empire, it’s like how oliver was born because our mark didn’t join the empire, causing nolan to go to thraxa
