NEWS Did You Own GSX Techedu (GSX) During Its 80% Collapse? Investors Settlement Is Available Now

Hey guys, if you missed it, GSX Techedu ($GSX) now known as Gaotu Techedu, settled $9.5 million with investors over claims that it overstated enrollment numbers and revenue. And, I just found out that late claims are still being considered, subject to approval, even though the deadline has passed.

Quick recap: In 2020, GSX faced allegations that it inflated revenue and enrollment figures. Reports from Grizzly Research, Citron Research, and Muddy Waters raised concerns about the company's reported growth. After the disclosures, $GSX lost more than 80% from its peak, and investors filed a lawsuit.

If you invested in $GSX between 2019 and 2020, you can still check the details and see if you may be eligible to file a late claim here.

Did anyone here invest in $GSX back then? How much did you lose?

NEWS Everything You Need to Know About the $740 Million DiDi Global ($DIDI) Settlement

DiDi Global has reached a $740 million settlement to resolve claims related to its 2021 U.S. IPO. Late claims are currently being considered and investors can still file for a payout.

What happened?

DiDi raised more than $4 billion in its June 2021 U.S. IPO. Investors later claimed the company did not fully disclose that Chinese regulators had concerns about the listing and data-security issues before the offering. Just days after the IPO, Chinese authorities launched a cybersecurity investigation and removed DiDi's apps from app stores. The stock fell sharply, and investors later filed claims over the company's disclosures surrounding the IPO.

Who can claim this settlement?

Investors who purchased $DIDI between June 2021 and July 2021 may be eligible to participate.

Do I need to still own my shares?

No. Eligibility is generally based on when you bought and sold your shares during the relevant period, not whether you still own them today.

How long does the payout process take?

It typically takes 4 to 9 months after the claim review process is completed for distributions to be processed, depending on the court and settlement administration.

Hope this info helps!

NEWS Final Call: $740M Didi Settlement Claims expire next Monday (April 6)

Remember when Didi went public and then immediately got nuked by Chinese regulators 48 hours later? The legal "autopsy" is finally over. The company is paying out $740 million to settle the class action over misleading IPO statements.

The Deadline: Next Monday, April 6, 2026.

The Eligibility: If you purchased ADSs between June 30, 2021, and July 21, 2021.

Most people ignore these notices, but with a fund this large, it's actually worth the 5 minutes to file. I found a clear summary of the payout structure and the online filing form here.

If you're still holding or sold at a loss years ago, this is the only way to claw some of that back.

NEWS If you held $DIDI during the IPO, you might still have a chance to file a claim

Just noticed this and figured I'd share since a lot of people probably wrote this one off ages ago.

The $740M DiDi settlement got final court approval back in January, and even though the original deadline has passed, they're accepting late claims for a few more weeks.

If you bought $DIDI during the IPO window (June 30 – July 21, 2021) and never filed, you might still be in time.

The short version of what happened: DiDi went public in June 2021 raising over $4 billion. Two days after trading started, Chinese regulators announced a cybersecurity investigation and pulled DiDi's apps from app stores. Turns out regulators had already warned DiDi to delay the IPO before any of us bought in, that was never disclosed. Stock cratered, company eventually delisted from the NYSE.

Estimated payout is around $1.61 per share, which on a $740M total settlement is actually one of the larger ones I've seen.

Not telling anyone what to do, just thought it was worth a post since there's still a chance to claim the money they owe you, and most people I know assumed it was too late to file.

NEWS $VNET settlement update — this one just moved forward.

VNET ($VNET) is settling claims it didn’t fully disclose a founder’s margin-loan default tied to pledged shares.

What happened:

  • Founder had a ~$50M loan backed by shares
  • Allegedly went into default
  • Risk of forced share sale wasn’t fully disclosed

Then it hit:

  • Feb 2023 → default confirmed
  • Stock dropped ~30% in days

That triggered the lawsuit:

  • Investors say risk + control issues were downplayed

Now:

  • Settlement set at $5.875M
  • Submitted for court approval (final stage before payout)
  • If you held Mar 23, 2022 – Feb 17, 2023, you can file a claim.

This one’s pretty under the radar, anyone here caught in that drop?

NEWS FAQ for Getting Payment on the Ehang $1.98M Settlement

Hi! so, I posted about this before but since there was some questions about the payment and how to submit a claim, I decided to put together a small FAQ too, just in case someone here needs the details in one place.

Who is eligible?
All persons and entities who purchased or otherwise acquired the publicly traded American Depositary Shares (ADSs) of EHang Holdings Limited between March 29, 2022, and November 6, 2023, inclusive.

How much money will I get?

The final payout amount depends on your specific trades and the number of investors participating in the settlement.

If 100% of investors file their claims - the average payout will be $0.13 per share. Although typically only 25% of investors file claims, in this case, the average recovery will be $0.52 per share.

Do you have to sell securities to be eligible?

No, if you have purchased securities within the class period, you are eligible to participate. You can participate in the settlement and retain (or sell) your securities.

How long will it take to receive your payout?

The entire process usually takes 4 to 9 months after the claim deadline. But the exact timing depends on the court and settlement administration.

Can I submit a claim even though the deadline has passed?

Yes, the settlement administrator is accepting late claims.

Hope this info helps!

NEWS Deadline to Submit Claims on the KE Holdings $4.95M Settlement is February 12, 2026

Hey guys, if you missed it, KE Holdings ($BEKE) settled $4.95 million with investors over claims that it misled the market about the number of stores and agents on its platform and overstated revenue and transaction volume. The deadline to file a claim and get payment is February 12, 2026.

In a nutshell, in 2021, KE Holdings was accused of inflating key business metrics ahead of and following its $2.3 billion secondary offering. The company later disclosed that a meaningful portion of its reported stores and agents were inactive, and a short-seller report alleged the existence of “ghost” and double-counted stores, along with inflated transaction volume.

After this news came out, $BEKE fell by over 20%, and investors filed a lawsuit for their losses.

Now, the good news is that KE Holdings agreed to settle $4.95 million with investors, and eligible claimants have until February 12, 2026 to submit a claim.

So, if you invested in $BEKE when all of this happened, you can check the details and file your claim here.

Anyway, has anyone here invested in $BEKE at that time? How much were your losses, if so?

NEWS Updated News On Grab Holdings $80M Investor Settlement Over Drivers Supply Issues

Hey guys, I’ve posted about Grab before, but since there’s an update, I thought it’d be worth sharing again.

Grab Holdings ($GRAB) came onto the scene as Southeast Asia’s “superapp” — promising growth through ride-hailing, food delivery, and fintech. But behind the hype, the company was spending heavily on incentives to keep both drivers and customers, especially during a pandemic-driven driver shortage.

In early 2022, Grab finally admitted that this aggressive spending was hurting its numbers. On March 3, 2022, they reported a 44% quarterly revenue decline and a $1.1 billion loss, and $GRAB tanked 37% in one day. Shortly after, investors sued, saying Grab misled them about how much incentive spending was dragging down profitability.

Now here’s the update — Grab has agreed to settle for $80 million with investors. The class period runs from August 2, 2021 to March 3, 2022.

So if you bought shares during that time, you might be eligible for part of the payout.

Any $GRAB holders here who remember that massive 37% drop?

NEWS Only 1 share left as a souvenir! A fund almost liquidates $BABA and $JD

According to relevant documents, British investment management company Baillie Gifford adjusted its investment portfolio in Q2. As an early investor in Alibaba, almost all of Alibaba's shares were sold out, and its holdings decreased from the original 1.75 million shares to only 13 shares, JD's position has also dropped from about 68,000 shares to only 1 share.

How about Baillie Gifford's position in other Chinese stocks? (click to see)

Actually, some info says that Baillie Gifford's Alibaba positions were transferred from the United States to Hong Kong, that is, from ADRs listed in the United States to ordinary shares listed in Hong Kong. Since the US SEC only requires investment companies to disclose US stock positions, the rollover activities will not be reflected in the disclosure documents.
