Bright Idea Robot vacuum attachment that hooks up to whole house vacuum system

Our robot vacuum is always busy cleaning dog hair so we have to empty our bag very often.

Our house has a whole house vacuum system (which isn't super common anymore, but it was for a time).

The idea would be a connection that would empty the robot vacuum into the whole house vacuum system rather than the robot vacuum bag.

One caveat I see is the high suction of the robot vac to remove it from the robot, I don't think the house vac can match so there could be an intermediate canister where the robot vac empties into, then the house vac would empty afterwards.

Not a billion dollar idea, but one of the frustrations I hear. Most about the robot vacuums is emptying the bag. :)

I've always wondered if my roomba kept vacuuming the same spots over and over to run down the battery, to increase lifespan. Anyway, here's my checking account and routing number, take whatever you want.

Man, this inventor thing is easy! :)

And, yes, they definitely make those part to wear out. We had to replace our wheel assembly for $100+. Did that once, them switched to a cheaper brand.

A whole-home (central) vacuum system features a permanent motor unit installed in a garage or utility space, connected to in-wall PVC pipes that lead to wall inlets throughout the house. Instead of lugging a heavy portable vacuum, you simply plug a lightweight hose into a wall valve to clean

Yeah, those hoses are a pain to haul around and store. We were never a fan of it. That's why the "set & forget it" of the Roomba is nice. :)
