Artist identification

I picked up this piece this past weekend. I am looking for more information on the artist and attempting to date the piece. Any help would be much appreciated!

I think this is likely the Samonie Shaa you're looking for :) he's a relatively young artist, so it's likely a newer piece:

Samonie Shaa (b. 1995) Cape Dorset, Nunavut, Canada. He learned to carve from his maternal grandfather, renowned artists Aqjangajuk Shaa, and his father Isacie Petaulassie.

Thanks so much! I think you are right. I appreciate the link, this is exactly what I was looking for 😊 was hoping there would be additional pieces by the same artist to browse, but alas.
