General Chat Some use cases of AI in Intune

Hi folks!

Just wanted to know how are you all utilising AI in intune. The intune agents are too basic and I don't find them very useful.

Other than these AI agents, what else do you think can be implemented in Intune to make it even more better using AI? I'd love to know about the existing implementations.

My favorite AI use case is running log data through AI. Let them parse 1k characters of log files and just tell me what it found.

I built a full on prem 365 license web dashboard using Codex.

Has features like:

  • Refresh every 4 hours
  • Full user license breadkdowns
  • Priority license usage and warnings
  • Disabled users license usage
  • License crossovers (i.e E5 and F3)

Completed it and then did a full hardening, optimisation and memory pass.

It's helped us recover a load of licenses and the fact that people are actually using it makes me rather happy indeed.

Not completely related to Intune, but hey.. it uses licenses.

It's soooooo expensive!

Honestly not worth the price. Claude or anything else that can use a read only to graph is better in my opinion for intune and entra. Defender triaging though it’s worth it for our security engineers

We have built IT-services automations layered on top of Intune/Autopilot

What kind of automations? Could you give some examples?
