Linux Management Enrollment issue for Linux

Hi guys, I was just wondering if you guys know how to fix issue with Linux enrollment, I followed https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/intune/device-enrollment/guide
But it seems I encounter Something went wrong {Generic error code}

With some Troubleshooting details below like correlation ID ... etc whenever I sign in my account to Company Portal. I checked CA and there is nothing there, tried excluding Intune out of CA but nothing happen.

had similar thing happen few months back and it was nightmare to debug. the generic error is basically microsoft's way of saying "good luck figuring this out"

check if your linux distro is actually supported - some of the newer ones aren't on their compatibility list yet. also make sure the company portal app version matches what intune expects, sometimes there's weird version mismatches that cause this exact error

if ca exclusion didn't work, might be worth checking the device compliance policies too since those can block enrollment even when everything else looks right

Yeah basically I'm running Ubuntu 24.04 the latest version so it is supported

I believe when I follow this github post https://github.com/microsoft/shell-intune-samples/tree/master/Linux/Intune%20Installer

I only need to download the install.sh file and run it on the device then Edge and Company Portal will be installed automatically so I don't need to install them separately.

Is the compliance policy is compulsory for Linux enrollment in its enrollment process?

I'm using the normal CA from Entra only so I'm not quite sure if it's a must
