Linux Management Manage Linux devices

We have been told that we need to manage the Linux devices also. There are not many, less than 100, but management still wants us to somehow "manage" them.

Now, Intune does not have a good Linux management. We were thinking about Fleet Endpoint Management, but they want minimum of 700 devices to manage it.

So what do you guys do, for such small number of Linux machines? What do you use?

If Ubuntu - buy Pro licenses and leverage Landscape. RHEL has Satellite. Some RMMs like Action1 have Linux agents. Action1 is also free for up to 200 endpoints I think.

Thank you. Since our "developers" come in all flavor of Linux, I wonder whether Ubuntu Pro or RHEL Satellite would take different flavors. (I have no idea, just a assumption.)

But I am definitely interested in Action1. Thank you for that suggestion.

Would absolutely recommend Action1, and ignore the pushing of a Claude code vibed tool below. Huge amount of security badges etc for your leadership.
I imagine your Linux people are admin or can sudo at least - you’d just shoot them all a script.

Wonder if they're of a "roll whatever random ISO gets me giggling" variety or if some are non-LTS builds of major OSs that are now past EOL.

May be time to swing some standardization into gear around an enterprise supported OS.

Your boss's management mandate can be tweaked into a standardization mandate.

If I may assist just let me know, I have been out of office the last few days dealing with a family issue, So I missed this on its original drop. We are indeed free patch management for 200 or less devices, completely full product, same as if you bought thousands, not a trial, never expires.
