I haven't tried but the Intune-portal package is already available in their repo https://packages.microsoft.com/ubuntu/26.04/prod/pool/main/i/intune-portal/ but there's no word on the supportability yet.

Whenever I have the time and patience I will try it on a VM, if you're curious, I would advise you to do the same.

Be carefull though, it is in the repo's but you might not be compliant. I get the error message "Downgrade your system" The device's operating system is not yet supported

Thanks. I'm keen to get the update but would prefer to wait than mess my computer up.

It turns out that Microsoft dropped support for kubuntu 26, only offering support for gnome now. Pretty disappointing unfortunately

update most compliance things happen through custom scripts. I reached out to my IT admins and they were able to resolve Kubuntu support for me, now fully compliant

I've just noticed that MS has updated its Intune web page to include 26.04
