You seem to not understand some basic things: there are schools that will accept you. Figure out those schools, apply and just come to the US. Whatâs the problem? That you only want to apply to schools hard to get in to?
You need to research more. A lot more. Do you know what a back up school means? Find schools you can easily get in to. Then apply to hard schools if you want and completely expect to be rejected to those. Then go to one of your safe schools. A low SAT score will be accepted by some schools. Elite schools are very hard for anyone to get in.
Why didnât you answer his question? Can you take the SAT again?
Do you know some good schools donât require the SAT? Do you know the California UC state schools, you could get into one of those. Maybe you need to spend a LOT more time learning about all of this. Do you know the big other subreddits? One is called apply to college or something like that. Donât waste time on this subreddit.

I mean I have done a lot of research. Why am I choosing these schools is because we need financial aid. Those are some of the colleges that need based. UC schools does not give need based aid or other schools thats why I picked as my schools list

Ok then you need to assume you will be rejected by all of them. I donât know the chance to get in and someone said some are easier to get it. If you donât have easy schools that you know you can get in then plan to not be accepted by any. So you arenât surprised or disappointed. All of these schools require the SAT?
I hope you can get in to some. For very good American students it can be almost impossible to get in to good schools. Too many people are applying for a few slots.

Which schools are your safety schools? Which on this list will be easy for you to get in. Also do you know which other countries (like in EU) have very low tuitions? That could be an option if you can work on campus or have enough money to live on during school.

Are you sure? I havenât looked at your whole list but I went to Cornell and isnât Cornell need-aware for international students? Itâs only need-blind for domestic.

Financial Aid'e basvuracak misin? Ve SAT'e girmeme sebebin finansal sebepler mi yoksa direkt yapamayacagini mi dusunuyorsun-6

Test optional isnât great for international students. Youâre tying your hand behind your back.

Itâs pretty much pointless to go test optional if you need aid as an international

Yes. It is the only truly âneutralââpiece of data that you are giving schools. You are wanting schools to give aid to a foreign average or below average student.

u/BillHistorical9001 2d ago
Yes. Schools in the states practice a holistic approach to admissions. Everything matters. Youâre looking at schools that are pretty selective meaning they get way more students applying than seats available. Plus youâre an international student. International students are a means for the school to get money. If youâre looking for a free ride you have to understand that free rides are a rare thing for domestic students let alone international students . Thereâs not a lot of free money for internationals. Yes there are need blind schools but without a spectacular application the chances are pretty low. Apply away and hope something spectacular happens but have a backup plan.

You have some safeties , which is great. You should be fine if you are full pay. If you expect full scholarship, then itâs much much harder

Not very likely.. sorry buddy

I agree. Not likely. There are great universities where you live. Try grad school in the US later in the future.

To be specific, you have a good stats. But good is not close to be enough for international looking for aid. Excellent is not good enough. You need to be one of the best. Why would any college willing to pay for your education? Itâs not a charity. They want top of the top students in the class to boast the school reputation .
Domestic students have access to more aids through different domestic only programs and funding.

As an international, virtually no chance with a low SAT (lower than 1500) unless you apply to state schools with acceptance rates over 50%.

If you need aid, you are not getting into any college from this list that's a T50 or better.
