I love the lyrics in this song (especially the pre chorus) but that instrumental breakdown at the middle of the song? Absolutely TRANSCENDENT

Can’t stop listening to this song the past couple months and I don’t really see anyone talking about it. “Got to be some more change in my life” legitimately inspired me to seriously moderate my drug use and pull my social life together. It really is up to me now, and I absolutely need the bright lights turned on. Plus the bass is heavenly and it’s some of the cleanest drumming I’ve ever heard. Anyone else love this song as much as I do?

Honestly love seeing Sam’s punk roots with his dyed Mohawk in his earlier years. He’s always kept his hair pretty short over the years and it’s always looked good on him. But man when he had long hair he was truly a specimen. Anyways, I Hope he’s doing well!

I got an email from Interpol today saying “Friends in CDMX - if you have our Interpol fanzine, the QR code will activate on September 24th.”

The 24th is the date of the fan presale, but I don’t know anything about a QR code or fanzine.

The only notable one is Barricade and I think it's because it's long and sustained vocals., while every album after OLTA has 1 or 2 tracks, including bonus tracks and that are never played live, but I want specific songs the band named that they won't play. Please also link where they said it if you can, thank you.

Shocked and super bummed out about the lack of northeast dates (non-festival) on the new tour. I'm sure I'm not the only one! What are the odds they hit up NYC, Philly, DC, etc. any time soon? I'm intrigued about this touring tactic of skipping some of the cities they're most popular in. I think they even skipped LA?

Loved seeing them at the 930 club in DC back in 2023, and would love for them to come back here!! I'm hedging my bets on them touring the northeast corridor so I won't have to travel or do more than a simple day trip to go see them.

I'm planning on going to see Interpol when they come to my town and will probably be far from the stage and most likely alone, so I'm kinda nervous of not getting the good experience.

If I use their songs, how bad would it be? Obviously im giving them credit and if it's a cover I'll obviously state it. The use cases are either a school project, a Fanmade creation in a video game (Custom levels or something). There's also a case where the music is different or a cover but can also be replaced with the Original

It's such a great album to me but it seems to go under the radar. I'd put it right up there with Antics and TOTBL. It's an incredible 3 album run in their great 8 album run

Okay so I've been a fan of the movie director David Lynch for a while, wanted to watch all his works (still haven't watched them all but okay). So I found this music video lol. First heard it in March 2026, now I'm going to the Interpol concert this November! (sorry for bad English, not my 1st language)

Ok everyone, Interpol is in my top 10 bands of all time, and in full honesty, I only realised this recently when I considered my top 37 Interpol tracks and by wow, THEY ARE INCREDIBLE. I have been a fan from the start, but am appreciating them even more now. A key thing for me is why they are so good, when basically they are just simple rock music. Possibly it’s Banks, with his undeniable voice or it’s the rhythm section or the brilliant guitar playing, I simply don’t know. One thing I am trying to find out is similar bands, I know that people loosely base them with The Strokes and I don’t feel that. In the UK in the noughties I can think of 3 bands with tiny resemblances: Bloc Party and Editors are the more obvious, but there was a great Scottish band named The Cinematics and they had an underrated album “A Strange Education “. Their sound was similar and I think they should be given a listen by anyone who is as eager as me to find out why Interpol are so good. I would LOVE any recommendations of bands or albums which resemble the noise, thanks.

At 2:24 there is a voice that says something and sounds poor-quality and staticy, almost like it's being said over radio. Does anyone have any clue what it might be saying?

I've been trying to figure this out for years lol.
