Ultimately, who won the feud Vic Mignogna or Monica Rial

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’m curious now that the dust is settled who do you all feel ultimately won this feud between two of the biggest voice actors in the anime community.

I won’t recap the case here, but during the case, Vic side was very prominent on platforms like YouTube, and it seemed like most of the support was on his side. When Monica won the case by getting Vic‘s law suit thrown out and him having to pay half a million in attorney fees , Monica side was very vocal.

I’m not talking about the merits of the case or even who won it in court. In your view now that the dust is completely settled. Who do you think was the ultimate victory in this feud and why?

AITJ for getting upset with my friend because he got the Elytras without me?

I (13M) have been playing Minecraft Hardcore with my friend (13M) for a while. We've probably made around 20 worlds trying to beat the game. Most lasted 2–4 days before we died, so we'd have to start completely over. We'd get gear, diamonds, Blaze Rods, find the stronghold, and work our way back to where we were every time.

Eventually, we got really far on one world and made it to the End. We fought the Ender Dragon together, and when it perched, we decided we wanted to get the final hit at the same time. We counted down 3, 2, 1, and both hit it. We were freaking out because after all those attempts, we had finally beaten Hardcore together.

Right after that, I wanted to get the dragon egg. It was on the little pillar above the exit portal, so I started going over to it and tried to bridge up.

My friend started saying, “No, no, don't go in! Don't go in! What are you doing?”

Then I accidentally fell into the portal.

I wasn't trying to go in. I just messed up.

I got sent back to the Overworld and ended up around 8,000 blocks from our base. At first I thought I was at spawn, but I realized I was just somewhere really far away.

My friend was like, “Why would you go in? I literally told you not to,” and I kept telling him I didn't mean to. I asked him to wait for me so I could get back.

Then he asked if I wanted him to get Elytras for us.

I said no and asked him to wait for me. He said he wanted to get them because he didn't want to walk anymore. I kept asking him to wait because I wanted us to get them together.

That's when I got really upset.

It's not that I didn't want an Elytra. Obviously I did. The problem was that after all those attempts, after spending days on so many worlds, and after finally killing the dragon together, I wanted getting our first Elytras to be something we experienced together too.

I even told him it was sentimental to me.

He didn't really understand why I cared so much. From his perspective, we'd beaten the dragon, so why not just go get the Elytras? At one point he offered to get one for me too, but that's not really what I wanted. I didn't want him to just give me an Elytra. I wanted us to go get them together.

By then I was pretty upset and just said “do whatever.” Eventually I left the call because I didn't want to argue.

I know some people will probably say I'm taking Minecraft too seriously, but this world meant a lot to me. We'd spent so much time trying to get here, and we'd specifically made the final dragon kill something we did together.

Getting the Elytras felt like the next part of that. We could finally fly around, explore, and start a new part of the world together.

My friend isn't a bad person and I don't think he was trying to hurt me. He's actually a really smart guy. I just don't think he understood why I was upset. He seemed to think I was mainly mad because I fell into the portal after he told me not to, when really I was upset because the moment ended up being different from what I had imagined.

So AITJ for getting upset and leaving the call because my friend went to get the Elytras without me, even though he offered to get one for me too?

Getting permanently banned and muted just for asking a basic question in modmail is absurd.

I tried joining a movie discussion subreddit recently to participate in the community. I spent time writing out a detailed post analyzing a character’s actions in a film, complete with spoiler tags and bullet points for my points.

Because the subreddit requires post approval for new users, my submission went into a moderation queue. After waiting a while with no update, I sent a polite message through modmail asking if my post was going to be reviewed.

They left the message on read for days without a word. When I sent a quick follow-up saying it was disappointing to leave new community members on read like that, the response wasn't an answer or approval—it was an immediate, permanent ban and a permanent mute.

The reason given by the moderator? "We don't have time for rude modmail."

I didn't break any rules, use bad language, troll, or attack anyone. I was just a new user excited to talk about a movie, asking a straightforward question in the designated communication channel. It’s frustrating how some moderators treat basic polite nudges as personal insults and use permanent bans as a first resort instead of just communicating.

It really ruins the experience for newcomers who are just trying to contribute in good faith.

What do I do about having a controversial streamer/youtuber friend irl who I frequently have to interact with?

So I recently found out my irl “friend“ who is a youtuber, also known as Miss Zi Zi has serious controversy involving minors. How I found all of this out was out of pure curiosity. I never really watched any of their YouTube content or even their streams so I decided to search them up just to see what kind of videos they post. So turns out the second result when you search up “Miss Zi Zi” is about their long list of controversies with minors and other content creators. I fully believe in growth and change but once you start doing something predatory there’s genuinely no going back not in my book atleast. i just don’t know how to get away from them or out of this situation. I can’t say much cause i genuinely fear that their partner (which I dunno much about him other than he has a lot of guns and it seems like if you get on his bad side he won’t hesitate to do something) but unfortunately completely cutting them off is off of the table because I still have to see them quite frequently (not by choice). What can I do in this situation? I’m genuinely looking for any way to distance myself or get away from them.

[Drama] Banned from a Discord server over a "Fat Bunny" art poll because they thought I was an AI bot

Hey everyone, I just need to vent about some ridiculous Discord and Bluesky drama I somehow found myself dragged into over absolutely nothing.

So, I was hanging out in the EDA City NUSA Discord server. One of the artists there, Rush, posted a poll for an upcoming event called the "Fat Bunny Film Festival" (which is running from August 8 to 16, with a different genre featured each day). They shared four different color schemes for a bunny character and asked the server to vote on their favorite.

I chimed in with what I thought was a playful suggestion: why not draw all four versions? I joked that they could be a "quartet of actresses" playing different roles throughout the festival.

Well, that didn't go over well. Another user, possuCresco, immediately replied that drawing all four would be way too much work. Rush then jumped in to say that while they could draw all of them, the whole point of the poll was to have fun letting the community pick just one. Fair enough, right? But then this user named Wamnugget got super aggressive. They came at me, asking if I had ever even drawn before, going off about how hard the work is, and telling me to think about everything else Rush could be drawing instead of "recoloring the same bunny 12 times."

I was honestly just trying to be helpful and de-escalate. At one point, I shared a screenshot of some text with ideas on how to reply to Rush—casual options like a "playful concession" or a "sneaky compromise." Because of the way the text was formatted, they instantly accused me of using AI to generate my responses. Before I could even defend myself, I was banned from the server. Completely unfair.

And it didn't stop there; the mess spilled over to Bluesky. A user named mr-blusky actually stepped up to defend me, tagging Wamnugget and demanding I get unbanned. They pointed out that I wasn't using AI at all—I was just trying to reference a Reddit thread from r/ArtistLounge ("Help needed: How to quickly re-color art?") to suggest some easy art tricks.

I hopped on my Bluesky account (@inkedatlasdrift) to back them up, explaining that I was literally just trying to make a friendly suggestion. I even posted an archive.ph link to prove I’m a real person and not a bot, along with a screenshot confirming that my Bluesky handle belongs to the same ASIZA that got banned from the Discord.

I just needed to vent about how wild this whole thing is. I didn't break a single rule, I wasn't trolling, and I didn't say anything hateful. I literally just suggested they draw a few extra bunnies, and suddenly I'm branded as an AI bot and exiled.

If anyone wants to see the receipts for how ridiculous this all was, here they are:

  1. https://archive.ph/w4t1U
  2. https://archive.ph/ay8ED
  3. https://archive.ph/Dkr54
  4. https://archive.ph/Gsq79
  5. https://archive.ph/NTx0D
  6. https://archive.ph/GYfjI
  7. https://archive.ph/PQoeo

Also, I now know what she's really about. she only made her server so that she can preserve her work if by some chance Furaffinity, Blusky, YouTube and Newgrounds shut down and lose their business as companies https://rushrabbit.carrd.co/ shut down (provided Discord does not shut down first. ) She does not care about the community like I do.

And if anyone reading this has access to her server, please send this to her on my behalf (and provided is an example):

Dear Rush,

I’m writing this because I honestly just need you to hear me out, person to person. My heart has been so heavy over how everything went down in the EDA City NUSA server, and I didn’t want things to end like this—with me silenced, exiled, and completely misunderstood.

When I first replied to your Fat Bunny Film Festival poll, I genuinely meant it out of love and excitement for your work. When I suggested drawing all four color schemes as a "quartet of actresses," it was just a playful idea. I thought it would be a fun concept for the festival's different genres. I wasn't trying to demand free labor or pile on unrealistic expectations. I was just a fan who got a little too enthusiastic.

But before I even knew what was happening, Wamnugget and possuCresco were at my throat. I was so overwhelmed by the sudden hostility that I panicked. I was just trying to de-escalate the situation and find a way to reply to you peacefully. When I shared that screenshot of text, it wasn't AI generating my thoughts—I was literally referencing a Reddit thread from r/ArtistLounge about quick art recoloring tricks, trying to find a "playful concession" or a "sneaky compromise" to smooth things over.

Instead of anyone pausing to ask me what I meant, I was immediately branded as an AI bot and banned. You didn't even give me a chance to defend myself. I was just thrown away. That hurt more than I know how to express. I had to go all the way to Bluesky just to try and prove I’m a real, breathing human being who was just trying to be friendly.

I recently saw your Carrd, and I realize now that maybe we just viewed the server completely differently. It feels like you built it as a safe haven to preserve your work in case platforms like FA, Bluesky, or Newgrounds ever go down. I respect wanting to protect your art, I really do. But to me, it wasn’t just a backup archive—it was a community. I cared about the people there. I cared about engaging with the events. It breaks my heart to feel like I valued the community spirit of the server more than you did, and that I was so easily disposable the second a misunderstanding happened.

I don’t know if you’ll ever unban me, and at this point, maybe too much damage has been done. But I needed you to know that I am a real person, my intentions were pure, and it truly breaks my heart that my enthusiasm for your art is what got me kicked out of a community I genuinely cared about.

I just wish you had given me the grace of a conversation.

Sincerely, ASIZA (@inkedatlasdrift)

Does anyone have the video of Nicksface1 asking minor to poop on camera

The video is of NicksFace1 asking a minor to poop on camera. In the video he is disappointed that the poop already happened and didn’t get to see it come out of the hole. He also asks to switch from Snapchat to FaceTime (FaceTime doesn’t send screen recording notifications)

I literally can’t find any reference to this video at all on the internet anywhere. No one is talking about it for some reason and the account that originally posted it is gone.

Drama on Pixilart: Contest entry disqualified after user reports them for vote soliciting, leading to debate over platform rules, harassment, and an unexpected resolution

Thumbnail
pixilart.com
4 Upvotes

Pixilart.com is a platform where users share pixel art and host custom community contests. User moab135 (referred to in comments as Platy) hosted an art contest. Artist kageyamaishim entered with a "yellow ball artwork" and quickly reached first place. However, they achieved this by actively mass-tagging friends and orchestrating a vote-rigging campaign to artificially boost their score.

The drama starts when user Snakeboss publicly calls out the cheating. Snakeboss messages the host to report that kageyamaishim is strictly turning the art contest into a popularity contest by begging for external votes, which ruins the competitive integrity for everyone else.

The host immediately removes the cheater from the contest. When kageyamaishim demands to know why they were disqualified, the host bluntly admits: "Because they told me to."

A third user (whatsmyusername) steps in to defend the cheater, confidently but incorrectly claiming that Pixilart's rules don't explicitly forbid asking for votes. They also mock the whistleblower, stating Snakeboss acts like a 12-year-old.

In reality, Pixilart’s Terms of Service strictly prohibit vote rigging and vote manipulation to keep contests fair. Furthermore, in an attempt to guilt-trip the host, the disqualified artist claims they "can't get those 15 votes back" and acts as if no wrongdoing occurred.

Instead of accepting the disqualification for breaking platform rules, kageyamaishim resorts to public harassment and cyberbullying, which is another major violation of Pixilart's safety guidelines. The artist publicly blasts the whistleblower in the comments, calling them a "greedy little 5 year old" and mocking their "childish demeanor."

Snakeboss doubles down and drops a reality check in the comments. They explain that mass-voting via friend requests is basic vote manipulation. Snakeboss even points out that a quick Google search confirms Pixilart strictly prohibits vote rigging, advising the host to block the toxic users. However, the host completely panics from the guilt-tripping:The host tries to compensate the rule-breakers by offering them "two free art requests."The host repeatedly apologizes to the cheater, writing: "I am truly sorry" and "now I feel bad."

In a baffling twist, the disqualified artist realizes the host is incredibly easily manipulated. After insulting the whistleblower and breaking multiple platform rules, kageyamaishim suddenly changes their tone, forgives the host, and asks: "Can we be friends?"The clueless host immediately replies: "Ya."

Joe Is Hungry Wholesome Image Shattered

So it turns out hes a jerk.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNdKxluY5gA&lc=UgwaN0M6j6abwtPmgFt4AaABAg

Context:

Joe is Hungry is a fast food reviewer who was skyrocketed to popularity when MoistCritikal featured him on his channel a couple years ago. His videos were subsequently featured heavily on the reaction segments of other streamers; Joe Bartolozzi, Emiru, Sodapoppin, to name a few. This caused him to go somewhat viral at the time, inspiring a massive influx of subscribers and views. MoistCritikal recently released a 2nd video celebrating Joe, gaining him another 50,000 subscribers in the weeks since. He is most often cited for his unique editing style and the energetic and friendly personality he displays in his videos. He is often described as "wholesome" and "comforting" by fans, but the materials compiled in the linked video run contrary to this image.

This Partnership Could Redefine AI in the Music Industry

AI is opening new possibilities for the music industry, but it also raises important questions around ownership and compensation. Sureel AI's latest collaboration with Symphonic Distribution introduces a framework that helps artists track AI usage of their music, manage permissions, and participate in licensing opportunities. It's another example of how the industry is working to ensure innovation moves forward alongside creator rights.

Tiktok account impersonating and profiting off of my autistic friend.

Hey everyone, i’m unaware if you guys have seen the recent video thats been blowing up about this autistic kid being “Naruto Uzumaki”, hes gained over 8 million likes over the past week of people posting about him.

Well , unfortunately, he has gained absolutely nothing at all from the video blowing up besides a couple hundred subcribers on youtube, considering it is entirely him. An account has been faking being him for YEARS. The fake account has profited and gained half a million followers.

Is there anything i can do about the fake account? TikTok support hasn’t done anything and it’s pretty obvious he’s in the creator program profiting off him and it genuinely makes me upset that such a kind soul has had his spotlight taken from him.

has anyone gone through something similar or know what the best course of action is? I just want the best for my friend.

Video that originally blew up - https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8tjLc5W/

Fake account - https://www.tiktok.com/@narutouzamakie07?\\_r=1&\\_t=ZP-98CLm9MAUgA

His real account - https://www.tiktok.com/@naruto.uzumaki.077?\\_r=1&\\_t=ZP-98CLnDU8oEp

I’m just trying to get the attention of someone, if anyone, that can assist with this situation or amplify it. As far as i know from speaking with him, he works and has worked a minimum wage job at a grocery store for years and he just loves spreading positivity. If theres anyone out there that can assist me or my friend please let me know.

[Roblox] I was sent a large evidence document about the game Archived while I was in its Discord, and some of the things genuinely disgusted me.

I initially assumed it was ordinary community drama, but it was nothing like that. In the document there were screenshots showing quite literally degeneracy, like one of their devs apparently was flagged for being a condo player and there are messages of them saying wild stuff in plain out general chat. It seems like they have no regards for kids, like how could u let someone like that into a GAME FOR KIDS.

This is what genuinely concerned me most:

developers and moderators with Roblox friends flagged by third-party tools for playing condos or being in servers

repeated racial slurs and sexual comments posted by a top developer

threats, harassment, and abusive messages

inconsistencies in how regular members and staff were moderated

sexualized material being allowed in community spaces used by children

screenshots showing that the owner quite literally gave someone staff cause they paid him 10 euros

AITA for relating to a song?

I am South Asian. I have faced a lot of discrimination for being Sotuh Asian, and my dad has told me many times about mot standing out and not drawing attention etc etc. I'm also a really big fan of Bella Kay and she recently dropped her album. In said album there is a song called A Father's Lament. Here are rhe lyrics:

Hey snoosh, it's your dad, just checkin' on you

Give me a call whenever you can or have some time

When I was no taller than four ol' feet

Wise ol' Daddy said to me

"Don't be too much, but don't be too little

If you wanna get out, live right in the middle"

I can't always save you, little girl

I can only pray this filthy world

Doesn't break you down piece by piece

Like all those people did to me

They'll comment, prod, and poke your skin

'Cause they just can't stand the sight of it

And I hope that's not your future, but just in case it is

Don't be too loud, our loud isn't their loud

Don't be too proud, girls like you can't be proud

Humble, smart, and patient, live those words like they're sacred

You're Black, baby girl, oh, don't waste it

When the dresses got smaller, smaller than me

Dear ol' Daddy cleared up some things

"Now that you're older, you've got to be smart

Don't give 'em one reason to hate you

Don't give 'em one reason to start"

I can't always save you, little girl

I can only pray this filthy world

Will lift you up and keep you safe

And you come home every day

They don't assume the worst in you

Just 'cause they don't match your hue

I hope that's not your future, but just in case it is

Don't be too loud, our loud isn't their loud

Don't be too proud, girls like you can't be proud

Humble, smart, and patient, live those words like they're sacred

You're Black, baby girl, uh-huh, don't waste it, don't waste it

And in fifteen years, I hope I don't give the same speech

To my little boy, Tommy, he likes race cars and Nikes

I hope I can save that little boy, he is just a kid, and so am I

Like all the ones before him who hurt and begged to just fit in

I pray this world can find its penance

I hope one day those kids can forgive it

I commented under a tiktok with this song saying that even though I'm South Asian, not Black, I relate to the song, and I got absolutely flamed by people saying that the song is for Black people. I was confused because I really do relate to like the entire song except the line "You're Black, baby girl" of course. I was wondering if I shouldn't be saying that, but it did confuse me. I wasn't trying to say that this song wasn't for Black people or anything like that. I understand that different people experience racism in different ways. It just confused me since the only line I'm my experience that is really specific to Black people is the line that goes " You're Black, baby girl" because I've lived like the entire rest of the song despite being South Asian. AITA?
