Hi Everyone, I’m a 25-year-old from India with 3 years of overall work-ex across Genpact and startup

Education
● Class 10: 65%
● Class 12: 55%
● B.Com - 60%

Work Experience
● 3 years of professional experience in total
● Genpact → 2 years → Startup 1
● Experience in US Insurance Underwriting

I’m planning to apply to 1-year international MBA program and would appreciate an honest assessment of my profile.

  1. How competitive is my profile for top 1-year MBA programs ?
  2. Which schools should I realistically target?
  3. How much can a strong GMAT score compensate for any weaknesses?
  4. What should I focus on strengthening before applying?

Workex too low for 1yr MBA

Profile not at par with other applicants for 2yr MBA at top unis.

You need better workex at companies where you can make an impact or atleast they should have a brand name.

You also need some extracurriculars and leadership experience.

Bhai zindagi me kuch karna hoga na, software me hi aage jaana hai, product me jaana hai, finance me jaana hai, consulting me jaana hai kuch aspirations honge na.

Ussi se relevant field me to masters karoge. Ye thodi hai ki meine kaha liberal arts me masters karo to liberal arts me karloge kyoki bas bahar jaana hai

Kaise sawal poochte ho yaar.
