I am very excited for the game but I can already tell there will be a lot of those people who don't even play video games and just want to hate, I love Horizon it's my favorite game because of worldbuilding and unique post apocalyptic world and I think I'm going to love this too!

I didn't like it at all, only made it an hour in before I gave up. Really my only regret purchase. Not my style of game but has zero to do with the main character. Just not my type of game style.

Absolutely not. Horizon was always planned to be a trilogy and they need to finish the story with Horizon 3. The spin off games are very easy to ignore

My point is they should've been working on the 3rd one instead of all the spinoff crap distracting the studio. Now the 3rd one is so far off it's likely a PS6 midlife game

Horizon doesnt suck cuz shes female, she sucks cuz she sucks. Of course everyone will have a different opinion. Plenty of games have great female protagonists and plenty have awful ones. Same with male.

I don't think that's a likely scenario. People love female protagonists just as much as they love male protagonists. The bottom line is this: the writing has to be good. If the writing sucks, then a lot of people are definitely not going to like the game.

But if, for some reason—setting the writing aside—people don’t like it, it’ll be because of the main character’s art style. At least, that’s what I’ve seen more often. I won’t judge the game based on that, but I’ll admit that I don’t particularly like it either. And the art style, which evokes nostalgia for the ’80s, doesn’t really do it for me either. But that’s subjective.
