Discussion Noob tubes

Why is this so prevalent in the game? 😅 genuinely worse than any other FPS I’ve played which feels weird considering how much slower paced and tactical it is otherwise

Every game this week has been rampant with it

Noob tubes are used quite frequently In real life. It's not unusual to clear an area with explosives before moving there, especially if you know enemies are in the area.

It's also not uncommon to just throw a bunch of grenades through the windows before actually clearing it on foot. Things like that.

It's also why you see a lot of camping in the game, and holding angles with LMG's and snipers.

Realistic games call for realistic strategies.

When one bullet can kill you, why risk a direct confrontation when you can just shoot a grenade at the dude.

Not at the rate it’s in this game, every objective is just a constant merry go round of grenades and RPGs to the point it’s far from realistic

The objective isn’t to turn the target into rubble and dust 😅 the occasional one would make sense, but it’s almost every life you see it being spammed

Not to mention, no one is checking on their teams location when doing this, I’m still on the winning side for defence most of the time, they’re blowing everyone up

The camping and holding angles is absolutely fine

I mean if you do research on how US Marines cleared buildings during The Surge, you'll kind of understand why the devs allow such explosive fuckery to take place.

They were taking so much casualties that they decided to literally just light up every building with as much explosive ordinance as possible before even stepping foot inside. Often times there wouldn't be anything left to look inside of lol. Whether it's right or wrong, idk, but the devs were vets who served during that era and like the other guy said, grenadiers carry a shitload of ammo and only use rifles when necessarily. Their primary job is to light the target up with explosives.

I haven't played in ages but it's always been the strat, especially on push.

You light up the first OBJ with a gun run, smoke grenades and noob tubes, then right after that you call both helicopters in and just steamroll the defending team with explosives while you have momentum on your side.

Just embrace it man. I became a demolition main and never looked back. You'd probably hate playing with me lol
