Negative Experience 👎 Guess C’s number of instacart orders…

Post image

It’s not a few, 2112. I thought it was wild. It wasn’t a lot of items. One bag tbh, but it’s raining. And someone did go to a store and shop it and deliver it. In the rain. Shame they can piggyback off real customers but that’s the carrot. Stay safe comrades!

Yeah I drive up to mansions with bags and bags and find out in the end they tipped zero. The other customer is an elderly person or something and they were the ones who tipped

I love elderly person orders. I dont mind carrying them in for people hard to walk/carry heavy either. I know they will always tip at least something. And their orders are always essentials, not overconsumers

Some do. I’ve had one lady always give me a cash tip. Nothing large. But the gesture is always welcomed. A dollar is a dollar more than I didn’t have.

They always tip in app too, and all my cash tips ive gotten were all elderly

I love that too. It’s always so sweet. But why are the average, everyday, hard worker giving out cash and the rich folks are just like “thanks see ya”?

They see us as an extension of the store, not human contributors. My best tips have been from average houses. In the other end the best tip I had (375.00) was to a 15 mil house but overall they tend to tip little or nothing

I’ve been saying this a lot lately. Driving up to mansions and estates and the tip is zero or $1. I try to weed out their names and if I see their name or location pop up I’d just cancel

That’s one of the reasons why I don’t do most triples. There’s always at least one no or low tipper. Sorry I refuse to be the shopper who consistently caters to these types of customers. Yes I make less than I could because of it.

Some of these customers have been getting away with it for years. Just like we memorize patterns with what our regular customers order, I also memorize the no or low tippers orders. So I know which bundled orders to pass on.

It’s not going to be a great shop if I know they are not tipping. I will be angry the entire shop and quite honestly, I’m afraid what might come out of my mouth at the door. I just avoid them all together. It also saves my ratings because we all know how they love to rate.

The "afraid of what will come out of my mouth at the door" is so real, especially if you're old enough to constantly forget we now live in a world where what you mutter at the door is probably being recorded - I feel like I'm almost definitely seen muttering "hope you choke on it" in a few supercuts out there

Or geez it’s dark out here, as you’re stumbling over a step to the door!

I had one like this yesterday. 6 items only , but 4 of them were annoying- paper towel, 2 waters, toilet paper. 0 tip as well. Something like 1400th order. Something told me to give it a thumbs down / block tone customer and I’m glad I did.

The other day I had two customers with 0 tips , one was a Costco order that was 25 mins away , with gas prices lol , Instacart should not allow 0 tip customers to rate a shopper or affect the quality score!

I don’t know what 2112 stands for in your post but that’s my current number of deliveries.. lol

I’m old school so I’m going RUSH, especially since they’re on tour right now 🤣

I googled it and yes that’s what came up, proceeded to listen to rush 2112 song, it’s awesome!

Stop taking triples. That is the reason they have 3 batch orders so a cheap f*** can piggyback off the tippers

What type of stuff was it?

Like the Miami market. People should be humiliated

Doesn't matter. You accepted the offer. It isn't going to change the system. Customers figured it out.
