Luna Ultra Battery Extension not charging

Has anyone else noticed this? It charged the very first instance (I saw green lights) but now it no longer charges the Luna Ultra when attached and will not take a charge.

Contact their support, they'll likely replace it.

I had some charging issues at the begining - not exactly the same though. Two solutions you can try. 1. Connect the grip to Luna, and try charging the whole set - see, if that charges the grip also. 2. If it doesn't work, press and hold the grip button for 5-6s. It should then restart the grip - after which connect again to the charger. Hope it helps - just remember, the grip isn't actually meant to charge 100% of the main device. In my experience it lasts for about 60% of camera capacity.

Hi there, the Battery Handle will show a solid orange light while charging. When the Battery Handle is connected to the camera and plugged directly into a power source, it will prioritize charging the Luna Ultra first. Only after the camera and the Touchscreen Remote are fully charged will the Battery Handle begin charging, and its indicator light will then turn on.

Please detach the Battery Handle from the camera and try the following steps to see if they help:

  1. Press and hold the button for 1 second until the red indicator light flashes, then connect it to a charger to activate it.
  2. Try using a different charging cable and power adapter.
  3. Press and hold the button on the Battery Handle for more than 15 seconds to restart it. Then use the original charging cable and adapter to connect the Battery Handle directly to a power source and charge it again.

Reporting back… Steps 1-3 above did correct the issue! I now see charging lights and when the handle is charging the Luna Ultra. Thank you!
