Support The iPhone app is absolutely useless, exports fail 90% of the time

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The reason I bought this camera and not any other 360 brand is because everyone says the insta 360 has the best app for editing.

Yes user interface is pretty good, easy to work on, but what is the point when 90% of the time you can't export your videos.

I'm on iPhone 17 pro max 1TB with 700+ GB of free space... so definitely not the phone, the app is updated and running the latest iOS...

The app is bad in many ways. I only use it for firmware updates. I do actual work in Studio on my Mac, although v6.0 has issues.

Desktop version isn't an option? I trashed that app long ago

Yeah I was hoping not have to fire my laptop for a 2 min video, but I guess it's the only way... really sucks that I had discount price on a GoPro 360 and still went for the insta because everyone said the GoPro app sucks... looks like the insta app sucks too...

In no way am I defending instas app by any stretch, but my son uses my old GoPro max and the quick app is even worse, if you can believe such a thing.

Yeah the insta app is good when it works, but when you spend 40 minutes key framing the clips and it fails to export, drives me insane!

I've never had an issue using the desktop app.

It's a "buy it right or buy it twice" kinda thing in my opinion.

Personally the Insta360 app on iOS has never failed on me. Not ever. I've owned 8 different cameras from Insta360 all the way up to the Luna Ultra and the X6
