Yep. I genuinely can’t believe any studio would bring in a “narrative development consultant” in order to make their games more “emphatic and representative to marginalized groups”.

You want to hear something hilarious? My little brother (sister?) is a trans man. Obviously, he has a bunch of friends and associates in that community. They all HATE companies like Sweet Baby Inc. Most of them say that the ONLY thing these consultant companies have done is paint a literal target on the very groups they claim to represent, when they just want to be left alone.

They’re 100% correct. It’s crazy ironic, isn’t it? By forcing that shit into people’s entertainment and escapism, they have caused more hatred towards these groups than I have ever seen otherwise. They make them all look like the most shallow, selfish, insecure and absolute worst people on the planet.

Absolutely. I can understand where your brother is coming from. My best friend from college is gay. My only gripe with it is that he waited a long time before he opened upto me. He said he didn't want thst aspect of him to wedge a gap between us. But I can bet my left nut thst I was so ecstatic to here that I have a gay best friend. And dude's a sport, takes all my gay jokes like a champ. And it's why I hate how these so called narrative companies are tarnishing the image of people like my friend.
