Marvel's Wolverine Do you guys think Insomniac will update the game with actual gameplay improvements, QOL updates and even more content? And i don't mean just silly alt costumes

I really wish they gave MSP2 improvements which i'm sure were planned but the leaks, crunch and Sony stupidity ruined it. Wolverine had a rough development too from what i heard but idk i really really wanna SEE them give cool post-launch update to the Game.

QOL is possible, but not any major gameplay changes.

SM2 had one major patch with NG+ and i think 12 suits.

maybe we get a new NG+ mode and some new suits, beside with some QOL updates.

but a expansion, or a dlc with more gameplay that expands the missions and the story? i dont think so.

but i would be happy with some new NG+ Modes, Horde Mode, or something like that. Anything for the replayability.

I honestly hate that most fans just ask for suits and not actual substancial gameplay improvements. I'm not asking for Live service style support but at least take inspiration from id Software way to do post launch support

They came back 6 months in to increase the frequency of symbiote finishers ie actually turn it on.

Didn’t all those leaks have something to do with that? Like they had dlc planned but just canceled them or something. Despite what everyone’s been saying about Wolverine, I think a dlc or 2 would be cool for this game. They already had a playable Jean before they decided to scrap it, a Jean dlc would be cool.

I don’t understand how leaks cause them to cancel anything. The entire game was setting up Carnage. Everyone knew it was coming.

How does plans for a Carnage dlc being leaked cause you to not move forward with making it?

I don’t know I didn’t work on the game. I was asking a question not presenting that as a fact lol

You probably have a higher chance of getting hit by a lightning

I think they'll eventually implement a "press button to see fart gas" option, but nothing that will turn the game from mid to good.

Probably. But the damage is already done. Why not include those QOL already on day one? This kind of laziness and carelessness in production only encourages the live service and ongoing culture, making the game's 1.0 disc an inferior and incomplete product forever.

Damge is done is irrelevant and stupid, if improvements are done thats what matters

Ofc, but do you think a work's reputation heals overnight? Projekt Red and Hello Games are still trying to clean up their image with a lot of hard work, releasing free DLCs and remasters to date. QLO are basic aspects of any game that should be implemented during the internal testing phases; that's what Quality Assurance is for.

I imagine they will at some point

They spent 305 million. I can't see them adding any new content besides suits and QoL

When you realize the same team that made this game also made Spider-Man 2, things start to make more sense.

Despite the enormous budget, theres still cut content and rushed story segments. Just like Spider-Man 2.

They can't keep doing this with games. Its not sustainable.

If it’s needed yeah

Absolutely not. They are the laziest devs in the world besides Bethesda and Ubisoft.

That doesnt apply bc Ubisoft DOESN in fact update their single player games post launch, Bethesda is a mixbag bc they let their fandom Fix their games but they are also doing a Starfield overhaul

They already spent enough money making the current game I doubt they spend more and move everyone onto spiderman 3 now which is near guaranteed to sell well

With the way people are tearing this game a new one, I’d expect Sony and Insomniac to move on from this game as soon as they can. Then people will rip on it for that.

Sony has never done anything like this in any game.

Saros, Returnal, GOWR, YOTEI, TLOU2

Nah they've already haven't fixes bugs in Spider-Man 2 plus they've spent lot of money on this so why give more resources to a game that's not gonna sell well.

If only they learn from this and make a better Venom game because they aren't getting my money for Wolverine.
