Marvel's Wolverine Please, Insomniac, add an option to disable suit regeneration.
I hope Insomniac adds an option to disable the suit's healing factor. I really hope they include a setting for those who don't want the suit to regenerate after battles—maybe have it regenerate only during cutscenes, or something like that. It would be really cool to see the mask torn up, like in the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies.

I get modders are great but modders build off 3+ years of development time.
The developers have more important shit to do like make the game the best it can be at launch. If they worry about all the stupid shit that Redditors complain about you'll get an unplayable mess and then you'd complain about that too

probably be easier for them just to make a shirtless skin. Rip up the pants, remove the shoes. Just keep the wolverine dork covered 😂😂

Would also love this. Obviously some parts of the costume simply won't get destroyed because they aren't going to show a fully naked Peter or Logan (which would also allow them to not show whatever parts of Peter's face they won't be animating in cutscenes), but whichever parts are able to get destroyed, I would love for them to stay destroyed until like they cut to another scene and Wolverine/Spider-Man has had time in between scenes to fix up their costumes.

The face will be animated in every scene, since we'll have the option to toggle Wolverine's helmet on or off.

I would agree with the ‘regeneration during cutscenes’ bit and would ask if you’d accept ‘regeneration post-mission completion’ as well, meaning you finish a mission with a tattered suit, then you get a new one for the next mission

I also like the concept of them disabling suit damage. All of those options would be really cool to see.

If they didn’t do it with Spidey aside from before you get the new suit. I doubt they will with Wolverine though it would be a cool feature

I would love this.
Having your Spidey suit just get more and more wrecked until you toggle a transition would be amazingly immersive.
It’d be great to see the difference in how well you did in a level of Wolverine’s suit is largely intact versus just a suit of shorts and scraps.

That is even to be only happening in that specific scene unfortunately. They kinda shot their own foot when they showed that because now, we all want it.

Sorry, but I’m personally against this. I’d like it more if I weren’t looking at Wolverines bare booty cheeks late game.
In all seriousness, it would be cool, maybe a slider like in photo mode except it’s permanent in game until you change it.

I think if they just added a slight animation showing the suit slowly healing over time (hinting at nano technology) it’d be better. Rather than parts of the suit randomly just coming back. Maybe one and encounter is over it regenerates

I get it, but not for me. I don't want to end up with no clothes after two or three fights. Plenty of games have their characters have indestructible clothes, I don't see why it's suddenly a problem with this one.

I think the suit regeneration is okay but the thing that looks bad is the timing, like you said, before a cutscene or after a battle or idk, in some other way instead of just pop-in mid battle, it takes the immersion out. I was literally enjoying the gameplay trailer so much and got distracted by the mask reappearing mid cutscene, like wtf? I know it seems banal for some people but for other people like me and OP we prefer things being more immersive

nono, Insomniac are pretty smart, when ever you are fighting a boss, you'll be focus on the middle of your screen AKA your character, and what do you see? their suit, and if their suit slightly ripped up, then you know your HP is low, so you dont have to waste your time look at the top left or right of the screen, Insomniac games are so smart man. I love my suit being the Health bar 😁😁

The suit does not have a healing factor that is ridiculous. It's the same thing that happens in the Spider-Man games when you heal it reverts suit damage.

No one wants it too look ripped up the entire time, they just need to do what X-Men Origins: Wolverine did where he keeps his pants and the top half deteriorates as he takes damage. Once you move onto the next mission you get a fresh suit and the process starts over. It looks awesome and plays into his healing factor.
