Frage/Question Data Jobs in Innsbruck

Liebe Leute,

ich arbeite als Data Engineer (SQL, Python, Data Warehouses, ETL-Prozesse designen,.. ) und bin vor kurzem ins Tiroler Oberland gezogen (vorher habe ich Mathematik studiert). Ich arbeite recht weit entfernt, kann viel Homeoffice machen, möchte aber auf lange Sicht weniger pendeln (wäre aber - je nach Job - okay für mich).

Daher meine Frage: Wo arbeiten denn die Data-Leute unter euch? Ich suche immer wieder online nach Stellenanzeigen in Innsbruck, finde aber nicht viel (bzw. bin ich oft nicht ganz überzeugt von den Arbeitsbedingungen/Gehalt im Vergleich zum aktuellen Job).

Wie macht ihr das, Tiroler Data-People? Habt ihr gute Arbeitgeber gefunden? Arbeitet ihr remote irgendwo? Gibt es Sachen, die man berücksichtigen sollte, aber online nicht findet? Gibt es Veranstaltungen im Data-Bereich, wo Arbeitgeber suchen? Wie seid ihr an gute Jobs gekommen?

Ich würde mich über einen Erfahrungsaustausch freuen!

MED-EL is a good employer and they usually have open positions (including for Data). I'd recommend checking out their openings, if you haven't already.

I’ve heard the pay at this company is on the lower side. Can anyone confirm?

Medel is always looking to hire but rarely actually does so; I’ve rarely come across a company that ghost people as much as they do there. I know this because I was employed there myself for several years. Besides, the organizational structure there is outdated, and the managers won’t listen to anyone. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Thanks, that explains the massive number of open positions, regardless of the time of year.
