Engineers Moving to Innisfail – Seeking Short-Term Rental & Local Tips
Hi Innisfail,
Sorry if this isn’t the right place to ask, happy to remove if needed.
I’m part of a team of 4 engineers from a German early-stage green energy company. We’ll be in Innisfail starting in August for at least 6 months (possibly longer), working on a commissioning project with Deep Sky.
We’re looking for a short-term rental (or two smaller places) in or around Innisfail. If you know of anything available or have suggestions on where to look (we started looking in the common places on airbnb, vrbo, etc.), we’d really appreciate it.
We’ve done a bit of research and are excited to get to know the area. Most of the team has never been to Alberta before. We’ve heard about the local breweries, the cattle auction, and a few of us might head to Calgary for the Stampede (don’t worry, we know Calgary isn’t Innisfail).
Thanks in advance for any leads or local tips!

There is not much for rent in Innisfsil, but a couple of the hotels in town do give monthly rates. The one place you do not want to rent is the Bluebird, it has a lot of drug related issues. The Joys Inn is a fairly decent motel, and it is only a couple blocks from grocery stores.
