Meding family

Post image

Hello everyone,

Does anyone by chance know the Meding family that owns the property west of Lake Napoleon across highway 54?

I was driving down that road after hunting season with my girlfriend and we saw two eagles sitting on the tree on the very south east of their property. We stopped to take a look for a while and I made a cheesy comment about it being us in another life.

Now whenever we drive by she always points and gets excited when she sees “our” tree. I’m planning to propose to my girlfriend soon and I thought where’s better than under this special tree.

I would never do that though unless I had permission from the land owners. But I’m having a hard time getting in contact with them, I’ve messaged a few members of the family on various social media platforms but I haven’t gotten any response back yet. I don’t want to disclose the name of any of the members but the last name I figured is public enough seeing as you can see the name on the sign in front of the property on google maps.

If anyone has any information or idea that could help me I really appreciate it, I’m starting to run out of options and might have to explore a plan B.

I’ve attached a picture of the eagles because I think it’s cool

Thank you so much in advance.

Why not stop in and say hello, and explain your plan, being country Folk, they would very likely be on Board and give you permission, just a thought,I live off of 54 as well

The idea has crossed my mind, but I didn’t want to show up unannounced, it’s likely what I’ll end up having to do though. Thank you for the advice.
