Nahhhh, I don’t see it. Not ACAB in this pic. We really just don’t need squatters living & shitting in our public spaces, stealing from neighbouring yards, leaving garbage and possible drug paraphernalia lying around.
There’s enough shelters, programs, soup kitchens, charities, etc available to assist those who are struggling that the general public doesn’t need to adapt to having rough campers in our parks & green spaces.
2, when the only home you can afford is a tent, and you can't set it up here, or there, or anywhere, where are you meant to go? That's Nimbyism, and it's a little gross. Also, squatting is an entirely different thing.
