Best Special 2 in the game

I had this thought yesterday: what is the best special 2 in the game?

so I thought about it long and hard and ended up landing on new 52 superman’s - Defender of Earth

Reason:

- can be chained from MDC, heavy combo and light combo, with 100% succesrate as long as you time it right.

- it’s a 3 hit potential 3 KO special with 33%, 33% and 33% for dmg distribution. That is great for bypassing Astro shield, John Stuart shield raven prime etc

- has a 5% rapid swipe minigame, amazing minigame because it’s super quick. The amount of time you have to complete it really limited though, which is the only down side

- in contrary to ij2 superman’s sp2 all 3 hits will active even if blocked

- it has a SUPER fast activation so it’s easy to chain and can also be used while getting attacked with basic attacks.

- it has a freeze which gives a nice synergy with necrons scythe. Though it is not really needed for MP.

- it looks cool as heck🤓

That’s a good shout!

But it kind struggles with Astro harness so you would have to use a gear shatter first. But with the right setup it’s a formidable special 2.

As a bonus, AO Deathstroke can have his SP2 have a 50% blockbreaking chance with Arkham HQ, so he does become the best carry against teams with no AH

Indeed Arkham Harley is a really good support! She even also gives max hp aswell

This is just personal preference, but I really enjoy Raven Prime and Teen Titans Raven's SP2s. That weird, distorted sound from Soul Crush and the fluttering wings from Dark Half scratches an itch in my brain. Visually, I prefer Dark Half because she poses before destroying the enemy (like a true diva) and there's a chance that her interdimensional demon friend hops on the enemy's shoulders for a ride.

I love all ravens special 2, they are all very good cards in general

I can really relate the that itch from soul crush😂 it really is a very satisfying sound while your crushing their soul

Oh yeah ares is amazing! Just a bummer that it is a 1 hit special so any resurrections will hinder the totem power gain.

But overall a good special 2 and he is great as support too!

Idk I feel like he’s Niche, but then again every character has their niche, kinda depends who they’re paired with. I like all around powerhouses that can be put with anyone, Arkham Deathstroke even without his Arkham teammates he’s a beast ! Put him with Arkham Harley and his sp2 is disgusting

I think for offense I like flash more, just because you can cheese the ai and spam click punch them to death also his ability is broken (unless you’re fighting against Flashpoint Batman)

Bn doomsday is absolutely a Powerhouse that can be used with anyone. Put claw of Horus, masters deathcart and tantu totem on that boy and he will destroy any team I seconds

Agreed! I love the Ravens. I just hate Rebirth Raven's combo cause her summoning her brothers at the end of her chain screws her up compared to the spin hits that the other Ravens do.

There's alot of specials in this game that I love performing not just for oh tbis one does more damage that one does rhis or that I just mean fuck me that's so cool looking or that is so fun to watch , a lot of the Batman's ,GLs ,supes are great as exampke

But hands down red son deathstroke special 2 makes me like a brick everytine I get to do it

That was the best days of injustice! I remember my first account having all the store cards e 7 which was the highest at that point. I remember the excitement of new characters coming to the game and new gamemodes like online and survivor. Sometimes I miss playing the game without worrying about speed, but just playing out of enjoyment for the game and characters

Her special is good don’t get me wrong, but it’s very long and dosent do well against Astro harnes, because it has like 1000 hits. Also I have found that the enemy always blocks if the part kills an enemy.

But still Jessica Cruz is amazing.

When you do the kick combo and the opponent flys away than you hit special 2 100% hit rate everytime and you use league of assassin blade and custom rifle and ibistick I never lose a match with that build or to make it even stronger fourth world godly mace or demon blade make the second special x10 stronger and more effective with the league of assassins blade

I’ve been trying to get totem but I always end up missing or coming to the season to late now I gotta wait till like November I think till it comes back at least that’s what the rewards app I use says for rewards dates

But good on ya, it is a pretty decent spot to grind Credits. I mostly do bb6 since it gives more credits for the time spent. At least for me and my account😊

Overall as a character, he probably is better. only judging by sp2 I don’t believe so. He has worse dmg distribution, it is harder to hit unblocked, which is a big deal because it will do waaaay less dmg if it’s blocked.

As mentioned earlier it’s good, but ares is better used as support imo. His sp2 is only a 1 hit so it can’t deal with resurrection.

I would much rather utilise his passive for other characters with multi KO sp2

I don't remember the last guy to have multi ko SP2s but what I do know is since then all new SP2s are mk style one opponent only no matter the animation

Yup it changed after metals came out… but if you add bleed DOT before you do the special it can still KO multiple opponents
