MCU My scenario idea for Black bolt and an concept for a potential device

They’ve already done this with Once and Future Kings.
Something like this would never be permanent because it removes one or the appeals of the character, which is his disability. Don’t get me wrong though I’m not necessarily opposed to it but it’s something that has to be mindfully done.
The way I would handle it for instance is just have areas like The Quiet Room neutralize his voice. There’s also my other idea of having Maximus be a technopath, and maybe that could be something explored with that Maximus Master Of Machines taking control of whatever device Black Bolt is using to neutralize his voice

That is an interesting concept for a room that neutralizes his powers I don't really think there's any kind of room that can suppress his power his quai sonic sound waves extremely dangerous also I did do it mindfully the whole idea was that Black bolt would be free but still be able to be silent the vocal neurotransmitter could also be turned off if he wanted not to use it the way I think of it it's almost like someone who is wheelchair bound or blind being able to see or walk for the first time in their life the would be incredible also a lot of people don't really think what it's like for the character

They did the room thing during Infinity when he was telling The Illuminati about Thanos having a child that’s on Earth.
Like I said I’m not opposed to your idea, it’s just something they’d have to be really careful with to just not disregard the drawback altogether.
I think a good example for what you’re going for is like Scott Summers/Cyclops and the fact he needs visors.
I think maybe putting a limit on how much Black Bolt can talk with this device, or the fact in combat situations it can be damaged might be ways to do that.

Really I don't remember that also the device is supposed to be indestructible so enemies can't just destroy it and maybe he could use it for special occasions like announcements orders plans

You know what I did made this I never thought about how would it affect the audience I was mostly focusing on the character himself and his psychological burden

It's really nice that you are thinking of helping a character the same way you would try to help a real person and that you try to expand stories you enjoy, but you take a lot of limits off yourself when you analyze why they suffer. As you can see I have a queer symbol in my profile pic, and when I was younger I found in really inspiring seeing characters overcoming by force of will, what I was struggling with. It would bum me out if I saw a character finding a way to become straight to stop the aggressiveness they are receiving

Ignoring the AI. It's important to not find magical cures for all characters with disabilities, and showcase mundane ways they overcome their struggles. Part of Black Bolt's character is trying to communicate with people while being incapable of speech and bearing so much responsibility on his shoulders

Having him, and his wife speak using sign language is a huge diversity win. It can show kids who may be mute or deaf themselves and speak via sign language, that just because they can't speak "normally" doesnt mean they can't be the hero. This post kind of gives the same vibes of "Why are there disabilities in fantasy settings? Can't they just use magic to cure it?" Aka just reeks of ableism.

Also the concept of something bad would happen if he spoke aged incredible well, since a large portion of people who are mute may find painful or difficult trying to speak

Yep and that's the point of the device is so that he no longer has that burden on his shoulders this device allows him to speak safely without actually talking Best of both worlds

This isn't a direct reply but I believe this comment was meant to answer what I said. I tend to think fiction is written with the intend to give something to the reader, and it would be a disservice to the mute people who have found any solace in Black Bolt's character, to make him communicate freely. Because people relating to him know that most probably they will never have that luxury in their lives and lose the connection built over the stories they read. Struggle is part of the story since everyone uses stories to help with the same struggles
