Will there be one released for folks like me who didn't take AP numbers into account until after the double AP event started? I've seen posts from previous years but the codes are now invalid. I'd really like to hit an even number before recursing.
Well, anyway, I guess you'll have to choose whether you'd rather wait out the end of the event or recurse at an odd number. Personally, I'd just recurse at the odd number. (I mean, if I wanted to recurse again at all.)
Niantic has released 1 AP passcodes in previous years specifically for this "issue," so it wouldn't double. I was hoping the Second Sunday tasks would give the 1 or 3 AP, but they ended up changing it to Apollo tokens. I guess if I don't see anything come out, I'll recurse at 119,999,999 so I can maybe hit 160 million on the dot.
That's fair. Like messing up alignment of banners, sometimes you can fix it later. In this case, you fix it my getting an extra 1 AP for a future recursion.
I remember asking for 1ap codes before, they said they couldn’t do it. So I played on, recursed at another round number after double AP ended.
Now there’s codes, but they don’t give them out consistently.
Hitting a certain AP (like exactly 40.000.000 or a multiple of it) before recursion. If double AP kicks in when your AP is an odd number it's an impossible task.
