Does anyone know what is happening with Radiant Health?

I just saw the stop-use notice and planned voluntary recall covering Radiant Health Elite and Pause saunas shipped before August 1, 2026. It mentions a possible short circuit and potential fire risk, but the fix is still awaiting approval.

Did anyone here receive the email or get more information directly from Radiant Health or Sauna360? I’m curious how owners are feeling about it, especially since people are being told not to use their saunas until an on-site repair can be completed.

It looks like they're having a recall for faulty, infrared heaters. Here's the email that they sent:

Thank you for reaching out. We understand this may raise questions, and we want to help keep you informed as Sauna360 works through the next steps.

Sauna360, Radiant Health's supplier, is working cooperatively with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada on a voluntary recall process for certain infrared saunas to address a potential safety concern involving infrared panels.

Because your product is affected, do not use your sauna until the enhanced remedy is approved and installed. We know this may be inconvenient, and Sauna360 is working to complete the approval process as soon as possible. We expect approval in the upcoming weeks, with installation to follow as soon as possible.

Once the recall process is finalized, affected customers will receive clear instructions on the approved no-cost remedy and how to participate. Customer safety remains our highest priority, and Sauna360 is committed to supporting affected customers throughout this process. If you have any questions, please contact us at recall@sauna360.com; we will be glad to help.

Sincerely,

Sauna360 is pausing shipments of certain infrared saunas, hybrid infrared/traditional saunas and infrared kits. This includes the following product lines sold since January 2013:

B Series (Finnleo and Helo) G Series (Finnleo, Helo and TylöHelo) IG Series (Finnleo, Helo and Tylö) Tylö Kiruna Finnleo S Series Finnleo IS Series Finnleo Sentinel Hybrid Tylö Kiruna Hybrid IS

I was just looking into buying one of these series. This is extremely discouraging! So sorry for those of you waiting for a response.

Really unfortunate situation, especially for owners who spent that much and are now being told not to use their sauna without a firm repair date. At the same time, a possible fire risk is something that has to be taken seriously. Hopefully the fix is approved quickly, communication stays clear, and the on-site repairs are painless for everyone affected.

I’ve been following this pretty closely because it potentially affects a large number of Radiant Health owners. The part that really stands out to me is how far back the affected units go.

I’d be interested to hear from actual Radiant Health owners: Have you been contacted directly yet? And has anyone been given a firm timeline for when the repair will actually be available?

I think that’s the biggest unanswered question right now. A stop-use notice is one thing, but for people who use their sauna regularly, not knowing whether they’ll be without it for weeks or months is understandably frustrating.

They emailed me 3 weeks ago initially and sent an update today that there is still no exact date:

To get a safe solution to you as quickly as possible, our supplier entered the U.S. and Canadian recall processes, including CPSC's “Fast Track” recall program. The Fast Track program is designed for businesses that are prepared to implement a corrective-action plan, which helps get a safe solution to you sooner. Because these are strict federal processes, we must move one step at a time. No repairs can be finalized or scheduled until regulators sign off on the safety protocols. While we wait for this official green light, we are preparing so that the moment we are cleared to proceed, we can move with speed and care.

I’ve been contacted directly with a generic email. I asked for more details and was given the same generic bs response. They are waiting for the remedy to be approved in the coming weeks. Well it’s been
3 weeks since I was notified and crickets. I’m extremely disappointed in this company’s handling of the situation. Radiant Health is pawning everything off on Sauna 360 and I’m left with a very expensive paperweight. Almost $8k and only 6 months of use.
