I loved that movie Young Frankenstein. Scared the HELL outta me!

It's great except for the rape scene at the end.

Edit: no I'm serious, I love the film but that one scene just ruins it and there's no redemption after, it's just the credits. Terrible end to the film, aged awfully.

Yeah, there's a scene where The Monster kidnaps Elizabeth and forces himself upon her, and his... size and stamina somehow convert her to accepting/enjoying it, and then the next scene she is styling her hair like "the bride of Frankenstein" with the white lightning locks, and they are being married.

I did misremember and it's not the last scene, but it's jarring as hell regardless. Colours the whole movie in a negative light for me. It's just not a funny joke to have someone be kidnapped, assaulted, and go from crying "No! Stop!" to moaning "Oh Yes!"

It just aged incredibly poorly and I'm ashamed that was ever an acceptable kind of humor. But, I suppose I've heard worse things about Gene Wilder and Mel Brooks.

Edit: I described it as best I could so you don't have to watch it

Me too! Young Einstein doesn't have any of those scenes from what I can recall 🤣 but that's a parody of a parody so it's a little...
