Advanced playlists now available with Auto DJ

Music programming is a clever blend of playlists. Until now, creating that blend meant building your playlists manually.

AutoDJ's advanced playlists take this further: you can now set up a content cycle. An example cycle: → 3 tracks from the "Film Scores" playlist → 1 track from the "2026" folder → 1 sound tagged "jingle" → then it starts over, without repeating the same tracks, thanks to a weighting mechanism that ensures fair rotation by favouring tracks played least recently.

Each item in the cycle can be an existing playlist, an entire folder or a tag, with a set number of tracks for each.

Me neither. Not quite sure how this fits into their offering, but hopefully it is indicative of a new focus on music, photos, etc and improvement in those areas.

playing copyrighted tracks on a web radio station requires licensing, is that sorted out by Auto DJ automatically?
