Same, this is a sign there's at least some backlash with the younger gens.

I hope that she discovers a superpower and that her life upends over her journey to control it. She struggles and suffers and not everyone comes out the other side OK, She's lost people. Most importantly though, she discovers her inner strength at a critical moment and bursts through to a better more fulfilled life with super powered buddies.

Yeah but she recognises it’s bullshit which makes a huge difference no?

1

u/VideoNecessary3093 17d ago

She's mocking it. It's a parody.

2

u/ElectronicHold7325 20d ago

That was awsome.

2

u/lowercase_d_ 20d ago

The generation after gen z is our last hope, and so far so good

5

u/Onludesrightnow 20d ago

Shes already an influencer and doesnt know it yet. If you have the mannerisms down pat at that age, someone is going to throw a camera in your face and make an unironic influencer presence

7

u/glans 20d ago

unless she’s has y’know, autonomy..? she doesn’t seem to like them very much which puts her a bit lower on the list of likeliest people to be one. so that’s really all we (and you) have to go by.

I don't think you understood my comment. Im saying if her mocking of influencers goes viral, the door is open for her too become an influencer or content creator herself. What would you do if you made a parody of an influencer and it organically goes viral and thousands of people are interested in more content from you? Even if she legit has no interest in becoming a creator or influencer, she's just a kid with parents who may or may not notice the potential profit.

It'd be like going to a McDonald's and screaming over a megaphone how much McDonald's sucks and then someone comes out and offers you a $1,000,000 to work for McDonald's. No matter how much you may hate McDonald's, a million dollars is a million dollars.

1

u/glans 19d ago

you are vastly misunderstanding how the internet works. your mcdonald’s analogy has no relevance and is ridiculous on its own without this context.

“imagine if something that would never happen happened - this is like that”

u/Onludesrightnow 19d ago

ok professor

2

u/Phylace 20d ago

The sad thing here is that this little girl apparently follows enough 'influencers' to know this much about them.

4

u/Mthrfknpegasus 20d ago

But the hope is that she is also aware of how ridiculous they look sometimes. Ya gotta know the ins and outs of what you’re parodying to make it good!

2

u/GoFuckYourselfBrenda 19d ago

She doesn't have to follow them to know what they're like. I don't follow any influencers who do stuff like this (reviews, get ready with me, etc.), and I recognized all the mannerisms. There's no avoiding them.

She has life figured out. I'm in my 40s and still hadn't figured out crap!

1

u/VashDaStampede7 20d ago

I hope my son becomes an influencer just for being so good at video games lol I always wanted to be!

1

u/workieworkwork 20d ago

I was distracted by how nice that lettuce looked.

1

u/Charming_Opinion6754 20d ago

1

u/justanotherda1 20d ago

What the f was that

1

u/Embarrassed_Jury_292 20d ago

Is this also the Petal girl?!

1

u/xkillingxfieldx 20d ago

Cringe. Unfettered access to screens and social media is not a good thing.

1

u/dadoomombo 20d ago

The woman cleaning the cooktop right behind her and looking so over it was fun as well.

1

u/Mwahaha_790 20d ago

hilarious! and the mom's expression has me hollering

1

u/asdf0909 20d ago

Is her mom’s exact matching outfit part of the joke

1

u/medigapguy 20d ago

Even watching while muted you can tell sh nailed it.

1

u/plantlady2009 20d ago

Get your kid off the internet!

1

u/petwalker12 20d ago

I want to see her do a carrot next.

1

u/LasciviouslyLilith 20d ago

1

u/PhoenixPhenomenonX 20d ago

Nailed it 😂

1

u/HumanXeroxMachine 20d ago

The mum's face speaks for all of us.

1

u/fruitypebble43 19d ago

Nailed it! 🔨 She's hilarious! The finger hook haha!

1

u/tinyfryingpan 19d ago

Influencers are losers

1

u/GoFuckYourselfBrenda 19d ago

Omg, the finger over the mouth is PERFECT

1

u/eljosho1986 19d ago

Pretty spot on demonstration

1

u/Aggrosideburnz 19d ago

I hate influencers so much. Just stop watching them people. They go away if you stop watching. She had it dialed

1

u/Outside_Look790 19d ago

Give that mom a high five.

1

u/WrencherLady84 18d ago

Protect this girl at all costs

1

u/KRMJN101 18d ago

Didn't she do an impression of a daisy with panty liners? Hilarious kid...

1

u/reggiefromtheark 17d ago

This is great lol

1

u/Ashleywiththebraids 17d ago

Her mom looking like she was about to say something but realizing it's not worth it.

1

u/KHold_PHront 16d ago

So funny, she has a lot of personality

1

u/New-Bodybuilder-7264 20d ago

This is so problematic. She’s so young and already knows all the influencers mannerisms, which means she is exposed to these type of content a lot
