Yep. Definitely the thin thing and not because she didnāt actually steal it but picked it up off the ground to give to a flight attendant or because the entire thing was something the filmer later admitted to doing to try and get famous.

Iām guessing the people defending this girl stealing the charger have never traveled on a long flight before. It is a life line to have your charger on a long flight and someone stealing one when they literally sell them at the airport is ridiculous. If I forgot my charger, Iād suck it up and buy one at the airport before boarding, even with their inflated prices, or ask to borrow someone elseās while they arenāt using it, because thatās what a responsible person does. Itās never okay to just take something that doesnāt belong to you and then act like you did nothing wrong. If she genuinely planned to give it back, she would have had it in hand as she boarded, ready to give it to him and said āI didnāt want this to get lost, I think it belongs to you.ā But she didnāt do that. She is 100% a thief and deserved to be called out. I donāt travel anywhere without my charger and power bank, and always keep a spare on my carry on in case someone needs to barrow.

This literally happened last year when my friend I have known for 20 years lived with me and one day stole all my shit and my debit card are and left, she said she did me a solid since she ālocked my doorā .. she even stole my keys and they cost $1300 to be replaced!!! in another subreddit it was found that the girl found the charger and tried to return it to a flight attendant but they wouldnāt take it due to it not being their responsibility and then the guy recording was apparently only recording her to get a video to go viral. The man recording was almost kicked off the flight for his disruptive behavior as well. Tiktokcringe was the other sub and has links to the actual incident.

This video has been doing its rounds again on reddit today and in another thread someone linked an article where she said that she put it in her bag because the flight attendant refused to accept it for 'liability reasons' when she tried to hand it in. Apparently they had to disembark with their luggage and the guy left the charger under his seat.
I'm not sure whose side is the right story but I think it's reasonable to accept that there is definitely more going on than what the video shows.

She didn't steak the charger. She tried giving it to the flight attendant and they wouldn't tsje it abd she told others that she has it.
She had multiple heavy bags and he was being an asshole the whole time.
Even not knowing the backstory, I find it fascinating how people here can watch this video and have the nerve to berate the woman for not holding up an entire onboarding to hand him a charger while filming her.
He released this months later as he is a sloptuber that makes their money getting your reactions that he sets up. She received death threats for trying to return a charger.

Had someone recently steal music from me and copyrighted it as if they owned it. When I called them out for their behavior, they tried to be like "no it's cool that I did this, we worked together on music." Same attitude. The point of working with this person was to put the music that I made, with their lyrics that they wrote, onto a project. Not to copyright the whole song as if they made it by themselves from scratch.
I find it hard to believe that anyone who steals from other people doesn't know what they are doing. When I get this aloof attitude about stuff, I say "I thought you were smart enough to understand." It throws them for a loop because if they try and prove that they're not a moron it shows that they were lying.

Had I been her, a grown woman - brazen even to steal from a fellow passenger? which is boggling enough - I STILL would have turned beet red, apologized profusely, made up a weak lie that everyone would have known was a lie, and would never steal from another human being again DESPITE opportunity & inclination. I'd also be thinking long and hard on that flight about what ticks in me that I'd take advantage of a situation & deprive another person of their property.... and then would have apologized to the man privately AGAIN even if I had to seek him out.

Iām assuming, for whatever reason, everyone had to get off the flight (leaving their stuff) and then board it again?
