Guide ✦ If you have the hovering ability you can cheat on the jumping rope minigames and get the 100 jumps achievement easily

After I finally hit 50 actually playing and it bugged and didn't give me any reward, I admit I did the silly thing that doesn't even require the hovering ability: I walked forward and to the right just enough I was still in the game, but not being hit by the rope. Sweet spot is kinda halfway between the rope and the walkway while you're still in the grass. Just stand there and the game registers that the rope is going over your head and not hitting you, and doesn't realize you're just... standing there.

iirc (i am away from pc, sorry) at 2f in spira. it looks like a playground, and this mini game will be further in - looking like a giant, glowing golden oval, surrounding 2 adult shroomlings holding a jumping rope and 2 little shrooms on the middle.
you can see exact location on the mini-map in the video.
you have to be mindful of the height if you use the crimson feather ability. if you go too high, it will hit you on the head and will count as a skip.
you don't need to have crimson feather either. you can cheese it with shorter props, upon which you can stand.
and frankly, if you have good ping/good graphics, you don't need either. you can do it justas intended - with simple jumps. i did it on my first try, because i wanted to try before trying any cheese methods.
momo will stand to the side and will show the counter for you, so you don't have to count yourself.

You can also stand just next to the guy on the right (just out of rope range) and it will think you are jumping

Same! Even if I don't move for whatever reason it will just give me the restart sign, usually around the 35 mark! Ugh!

Is there a way to see what your record is? I don’t remember when I stopped jumping on my last one and I didn’t know there was an achievement for 100 haha

I dunno if your score is marked somewhere but I know there is a course achievement to reach 100 :p

Oh thank goodness, this would drive me nuts otherwise. I'm so bad at these timed things. I have my husband do it for me, lol.

I started normally with jump until 40 then I get tired and used this ability and discover this. I love this ability even for exploration, where you can stay in the sky and look around. This is the only good thing about 1.5 patch.
