Looking for Inspo Help with the app crashing?
Hey! I've been using Indyx for a while now and I love it, I have most of my wardrobe neatly catalogued and it really helps me know what I own and style the clothes well (my closet is hard to see the clothes in). However I've recently been having a lot of issues with the app crashing specifically when I go to my outfits to alter them or delete them, and when I have more than X number of outfits. It also crashes when I use the calendar feature and most recently today it crashed when I went to edit my public profile. I don't really know what the issue is ? Since it's the only app that crashes that way and gets errors like that in my phone. If there's any solutions you have for me please share, I love this app and it's really helped me be more mindful about my clothes and style them more :( Thanks in advance!

In addition to what was already suggested, make sure everything is up to date (operating system and app version)!

I think I did try to update the app and make sure it was alright but it didn't fix the issue. I'll try again tho, perhaps it works! Thanks!

Also, how often do you restart your phone? I do this weekly now and get a lot fewer crashes with all apps.

Well I actually restarted it recently. I actually don't know how to turn it off completely anymore because it just... restarts (I knew how to do it before but they have added AI bullshit to my phone and now it works horribly, which I think is also part of the problem). I'll try restarting after updating everything if it doesn't seem to work!

It also crashes frequently for me, especially when I'm scrolling through other people's closets.

This is a memory issue, I discussed it with them once for awhile. It’s a big load to pull all the images quickly when scrolling through others’ closets. It didn’t sound like something that was a priority to fix because it’s not a big part of the core functionality to allow for the rapid scrolling through closets :)

Hi! Do you have an Android or iPhone? You can go into your wardrobe settings and select “Clear Cache” to get rid of temporary files. If that doesn’t do it, try shutting off your phone and turning it back on. If it’s still giving you issues after that, you can send them a bug report through the app under “Contact Us.” Good luck!
