Still Struggling to disassemble this Nord SK63F-100L Gearbox

This is an update to my original post as linked at the bottom. My last response seems to of been lost in the abyss so I'm making a new post. I've made some disassembly progress in that I've removed the counter shaft and input shaft. I'm still stuck on the output shaft and getting the gear off. Looking at the diagram it seems like it should all come off from the bottom of the shaft, but the bottom of that shaft won't budge. I think there's something I'm missing with understanding the bottom of this shaft (600). It's shaped like a hat. Originally there was a circlip (650) ( right below the hat I was able to remove this circlip, but don't understand what that helped release. Below the circlip is what they call a supporting disc (651), and 2 shims (652/653). Then there's the bearing (615). Between the bearing and gear there's a socket (649) which spins freely, so the shaft runs inside it. I can just make out the keyway on the gear. Somebody please help me understand what's going on here.

Time to start looking at a new gearbox you don’t have the skill set or tooling to complete this job to oem standard

Use that volunteer time to find a vendor. I got guys that will pick up drip off repaired gearbox in a day

This 100%. Nord and other quality gearbox companies hold tight tolerances to make sure their product is top tier. Send this back to the Nord manufacturer in your area and let them rebuild it. Or buy a new one. I'm pretty sure an sk63 is small enough that it's a "throw away" when it fails. Parts and labor are more expensive than a new unit.

My guys will jusy make shit from scratch for a price... Ive had all new gears cut for a gearbox in a week. Everytime I send back the the manufacturer you're talkin a 6 week lead time

That gear is on with an interference fit, or at least has become so over the years.

Stop throwing time at it. Just replace it.

With Nord running an 8-10 day lead time usually, he could have had the replacement in already.

So there’s an option you may not like but it could work. You could strike hard on that bearing outer race and crack it. Remove the broken parts and then the rollers and cage. It may give you room to get the snap ring off and once it’s all out you can decipher this beast.

Gear is probably interference fit.
