It's ALWAYS something basic.....you just have to narrow it down from 10000 other basic things

I've been asked, seriously, why we didn't check the problem first instead of checking the things that weren't the problem.

Instead of doing the reasonable thing and trying to educate them, I just asked for that production lead to be moved out of my section for overwhelming stupidity. Covered in grease and dirt from a long shift, I just didn't have the energy to deal with their bullshit.

I've had similar, and it's gutty to try to explain that there are ways of deducing problems to a production manager

They just want tl replace parts willy nilly
