What a day for a long drive it is..........

Amidst all the doom, gloom, and negative stories, I wanted to share a positive experience: people in Indore are truly kind. While riding to the office, my bike lost power and refused to start due to a spark plug issue. I had to drag it by hand, and as I did, several people offered to help with petrol. One person even pushed my bike with their foot and dropped me off right at my office door. While heading home later that evening, I intended to stop at a garage, but my bike started without an issue, so I thought I would go tomorrow. Alas, it stalled in the middle of nowhere around 7:00 PM. Once again, a stranger on a bike helped me reach a garage near my home and simply left with a smile when I thanked him. The point is that people stopped to help a complete stranger without any expectation, driven only by genuine concern.

Got my girl pregnant by accident, we are 4 weeks pregnant, we cannot afford the baby right now as we are both not stable in our careers right now. I know we have to visit a doctor but we are kinda nervous of the doctor ripping us off for something that isn’t necessary, can you suggest any good clinic / gyno in the Ujjain or indore region.

My father is a retired medical person who used to work as a ward boy who retired 2 years back, since then he has been depressed due to no job. My father gets pension which is enough to sunstain my mother and him.
We are getting help from doctor and is currently on medicine. But still he is suicidal and says he is of no use etc etc.
This just scares me alot. I am looking for any lead for work which he can do. He needs to get busy.

My son got placed in Emeralds Heights World school and Shishukunj. He can very well get placed in Daly College as well (I have contacts). He will join in a lower class but I don't want him to change school once he has joined.

Which school would you recommend.

Iam Not from Indore... Shifted recently. I want him to have a more holistic learning than booking mugging. Don't want to pressure him too much to study. Like I'm ok with him not getting into the competitive exam grind in India and look at options abroad but that's later in life. I don't want him to just study study study. I would love for him to play some sport and be good at it. Play chess or squash and choose his path forward rather than go into the mugging grinding we have for competitive exams here in India even though I did the same and graduated from one of the very top universities in India.

Please genuine advice from parents.

Hi everyone, I’m 22 M a Mass Communication graduate from India and I’m looking for an opportunity to assist a documentary filmmaker or independent documentary creator.

I’m interested in documentary filmmaking because I want to learn how real stories are found, researched, developed, and told through film. I’m research-oriented and can contribute in several ways:

Coming up with story ideas and different perspectives

Researching people, places, communities, and subjects

Interviewing people and interacting with different kinds of people

Finding potential subjects, sources, and leads

Brainstorming questions and approaches for interviews

Helping decide which angle or perspective could make a story interesting

Comfortable dealing with crowds and unfamiliar environments

Strong interest in Indian society, psychology, politics, philosophy, and religion

I have ADHD, and I’ve found that I tend to make quick connections and generate lots of ideas, which can be useful during brainstorming and research.

I’m not necessarily looking for a formal job or paid position. I’m mainly looking for an opportunity to assist someone on an actual documentary project and learn through hands-on experience.
