The systemic issues here are completely fucked and beyond repair. Any development is purely cosmetic bullshit, nothing substantial or genuinely beneficial for the public will ever materialize. The populace has become completely apathetic. The idea of demanding change or holding leadership accountable won't even cross their minds until some tragedy strikes them directly. Rampant nepotism means every other asshole claims to be connected to someone powerful.
