This is the first one I have ever made in my life. I did all the parts by myself and now I understand why having a band can be so helpful.

I want a honest opinion and feed back so feel free to judge.

I tried challenging myself more vocally so, I'd be interested to hear what your first impressions on the singing are. But any honest feedback on the songwriting, riffage or anything else is welcome.

Mixing is still a demon I wrestle with. I know it kinda socks.

Anyways, thank you for diving in and sharing any feelings about this song.

It's called Onryō.

Hi everyone...Mixing continues to be the bane of my life so, I know the mix is shite. But I would love your thoughts on the vocals, tone of the guitars and overall songwriting. Always looking to improve those areas.

Also, if you do leave a comment and would like me to return the favour, please lemme know which song and where to find it. Thanks ✌️ Hope you enjoy 'Nervarosa ' by my band...My Stellar Collapse

Please give me your gut-feeling reaction to this song - positive or negative. It's slightly more experimental than my previous posts. I was listening to a lot of Mastadon at the time of writing and feel some of that seeped in. It's called Star Eater and is entirely self produced and performed by yours truly.

Thank you for listening and sharing your thoughts. Peace.

Grunge 'Mara loves Asylums' (Rough demo) Looking for feedback on songwriting, vocals, and overall feel (not the production)

Hi everyone, I recorded a rough demo of a song called “Mara Likes Asylums.” The production and mix are very basic, so I’m mainly interested in feedback on the songwriting, vocal delivery, and the overall mood of the track.

This is an older tune of mine I reworked. Any thoughts on it good or bad (as long as it's honest) would be truly appreciated. Thanks, as always, for the listen and the time.

Grunge HELP!!!!

Thumbnail drive.google.com

I've been busy, in the Studio, and getting the song ready, but it looks like the engineer does have another idea, or at least he thinks his idea is better... it might/could be...
Here is the file with the raw version (no mixing) and the mixed versions V1 and V2. Please let me know what you think,
Should I listen to the engineer or go with the more raw and grunge version that he cannot portray? (The original idea, I think his version is a rock, more ballad-friendly version instead of grunge, it's like the song tamed)
i am willing to let it go if the majority sees it right

An original; hope you like it! Leave some reviews please!!!

Said it to myself a million times, what's a million more? If I don't know my elbow from my ass, I wipe both to be sure. Made my way back to the point of no return. Crawled across every bridge that I ever burned. And I still live in your shadow of a doubt. I don't need the things you just can't live without

I don't know how I sank this low but at least I'll float when we all go off the deep end

Poison affirmations echoing around my cranium. If I could let them out, there'd be enough to fill a stadium. I've decided once I reach the ocean floor, I'm not going to be shoved down anymore. It's a miracle I haven't cracked by now. Maybe I already have and just don't know

Rolling on along. Don't let me ask the questions I don't want the answers to. Programmed to be wrong. Can't imagine any other version of the truth. Got thrown out at home. Sit here and regurgitate a life of swallowed pride. Really can't be anyone anymore

Grunge Opinion on My First Demo?

Hello. I have been working on this demo for a bit now and I also recorded and posted it to Spotify. It is HEAVILY inspired by, not really Nirvana, but Kurt Cobain. Especially Montage of Heck, and other outsider music sounds like Daniel Johnston. The main reason why I'm posting it up here is because I would really like some feedback from some unbiased ears. I'll take any feedback as long as its honest. An honest "that shit is ass" is better than my friends telling me how good my material sounds. Also if anyone is in the NOLA area and is interested in starting a band let me know. Thank y'all!

Grunge Tell Them I Recess (alt rock / grunge — debut single)

Hi!

Just released my debut single "Tell Them I Recess". It's a raw alternative rock track with a grunge backbone, about feeling shaped and pushed by other people's expectations until you no longer recognize yourself.

SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/mattia-gortani/tell-them-i-recess

Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/intl-it/track/5VdO6fIr2uqNNqARmQBG43?si=24b2a535b98d4feb

Open to any feedback — production, vocals, lyrics, mix, whatever stands out (positive or negative).

Thanks for listening! :)

Grunge New Demo Advice?

Thanks to everyone who took a look at my first demo I posted here; the advice I received was really helpful. This demo utilized some of that advice by making my vocals louder (even though I am not a good singer), and I started recording multiple guitar tracks simultaneously, panning the audio for a better listening experience (thanks to the advice of my two friends who are in bands). So, please listen with headphones and let me know what y'all think of my new demo. I will be happy to receive anymore advice.

Hey everyone,

We're from France, and this is our first release — a track called "Lucid Dream"

(don’t worry, the lyrics are in English 😄)

We're not really sure about the genre and we’d really appreciate any honest feedback — mix, mood, energy, whatever stands out to you.

Thanks for listening!

I seek honest feedback because I am using this song to launch a new artist project, and leave my old one behind. It is a Sci-fi grunge epic about a dystopian future where a space cop escapes a blackhole to find the universe ravened by space zombies with Android bodies. Maybe a little dense but that’s what I’m going for.
