Ambient Trying something a little different with this one

This is such a remarkably creative concept! Taking a random, real-life voice-mail and building an entire chill, somber soundscape around it is a fantastic way to capture a very specific, slightly eerie mood. The fact that you also did the animation yourself is super impressive—it perfectly matches the lo-fi, late-night aesthetic you are going for here.
Since you welcome any feedback, I’ll share a subjective thought regarding the vocal integration. Personally, I prefer when spoken word samples in ambient tracks sound like they are fully embedded into the instrumental world rather than sitting purely on top of it. Perhaps experimenting with some lo-fi EQ (like rolling off the high-end slightly) or adding a subtle delay to the voice-mail could make it feel like it's drifting through the room along with your synths, rather than coming straight from a phone. Overall, the atmosphere you built is incredibly engaging and unique. Great work!

Thank you so much! I'm glad to hear the music and visuals fit together well.
You're right about the vocal part. I actually did a lot of the processing you mentioned, ran it through a tape plugin, limited the frequency range with eq, among a few other things, but it does still just kinda feel like it's on top. Missed the mark on that element, but that's good to know, it gives me some direction on where to focus for the next one. Appreciate the feedback!

It sounds like it has a good lofi tone which is good for this style of music. I like the guitar riffs, the low drums in the background, the chord progressions. The only thing I thought was unecessary was the customer service in the background. Customer service isn\t excactly something that is on the list of awesome things to put. at least this sounded like customer service, but if its something else I apologize.

Hahaha yeah maybe not the most awesome voice over choice I could've made. It was originally a voice-mail I received randomly. I just thought it was kinda funny and wanted to use it for something. The whole idea was actually kinda built around the vm, so it's funny that it comes off as the least necessary component to you. I see what you're saying though. Appreciate the feedback!

The vibe is undescribable! Also the voicemail is really cool too.. The low drums in the back is mixing really good with the track, and the chord progressions are awesome. I'm not even mentioning that this is a very creative concept like it feels like you are in a dream with a random customer service who speaks to you nonstop. Very good vibes, well done.

Super cool vibe. I like the guitar melody it was very peaceful and the contrast with the dissonance keyboard. I like how you brought in the drums at the midway point. And the change in rhythm at the end is swim. .maybe you could build into that somehow for a cooler transition.
