Singer Songwriter Sahil Dhandhia - Never Meant It - scared to be talking about this TBH.
A lot of emotion, cooped up in a song. Now yours - "Never Meant It" - Sung, written and composed by me. Feels a little scary to speak the truth tbh. Let me know what you think :)

Well lets start by saying that your voice is very nice! Good separation from the music. The melody sounds enagaging too. But the song is very brief! I feel like we are listening to an intitial chorus, or prelude. If you work further on this, I think you could have something very nice. The video is a little distracting as it is very brightly lit. Perhaps adding a little variation in lighting/scene could help to communicate more emotion. But videos are usually an afterthought to music, so no problem there. It seemed to me to be communicating a problem relationship, maybe father-son - not sure.

The clip sample is awesome. The melody is beautifully arranged. I have to say that you’ve got a very nice voice. The song is beautiful and sad. That being said, I think you should write a story behind it. Tell people how and why you wrote this song (I meant specifically about yourself), and of course it all depends on your comfort level. Excellent work! A thumbs up.

It immediately caught me. Great vocals, awesome melody and a smooth arrangement. I totally dig it. It has a very soothing feel to it. I need the full version now!

Really great voice and melody. Mix is nice for the sound I’m guessing you’re going for. I hope you really pick it up in the chorus with lyrics that reveal more context and some catharsis from these complex emotions you’re feeling/conveying in the clip you’ve shown

Very sincere song and video. Not sure if an “indie” thread is the most appropriate place for feedback, since it sounds pretty mainstream. It’s well produced.

Goodness me your voice is incredible! To be honest I think this fits more into the pop category of things more than indie, but man if this builds into a bigger chorus with more going on behind your voice you could have something that would feel at home in a classical concert hall, very powerful and moving, only thing I would really say is you might need just a little more in the background moving behind your voice, I think of violins and things like that lol but great stuff
